Chapter 39

 

Here is a quick update on everything that has been going on....

Jon and I haven't been needed for anything for the past 2 weeks. So we just stayed home , went to NXT, and traveled a bit. But now it's time to get back to work and I need to be caught up on the storyline with Seth and my lovely father who I still haven't talked to since he flipped out on me.

"Rachel!" I snapped out of my little day dream and looked up to see Hunter.

"Yes Trips?"

"You know the plan for tonight right?"

'Yes sir! Diva's Battle Royal and the segment with Sethy!" I laughed and smiled.

"Good." he smiled back. "But now go get ready because you need to be out there in 20 minutes for the match.

I nodded and gave him a thumbs up and jogged to my locker room and grabbed my bag and went into the bathroom. I quickly slipped on my ring gear. I grabbed my boots and ran to hair and makeup to get that done. I looked at the time and had about 8 minutes left. I found the nearest steel chair and sat down to put on and lace up my boots. Once I was almost done I saw a pair of feet in front of me I looked up and saw a sweaty John Cena. Him and I haven't talked in months. I was so upset he didn't tell me about Nikki I just avoided him.

"Hey Johnny boy." I gave him a small smile.

"Hey. Good luck tonight. I hope you win." He smiled.

"Thanks-." I was cut off by my music.

"Well that's my cue. See ya champ." I patted his shoulder and ran out and did my entrance. I got into the ring then the match started.

I eliminated Emma, Cameron, and Alicia Fox. In the end it was Naomi, Paige, and I. Paige and I looked at each other and eliminated Naomi together. Then we were just face to face. We fought and fought but in the end Paige won. As she was celebrating I was out on the side resting a bit. All of a sudden Naomi was attacking Paige. After a while I got up and ran at Naomi. The crowd was going crazy chanting my name. We were going at it. Then all of a sudden I hit her with an RKO. I stood there with a smirk on my face and my head held high. I went backstage and was stopped by Renee.

"Rachel you just lost the Diva's Battle Royal but then saved the diva who eliminated you from being attacked worse. Anything to say about that?"

"Yeah I do. Naomi I would watch your back if I were you. Because one way or another I'm coming for you!" with that I walked away and went to my locker room to shower quickly and change into my outfit the segment in about an hour. I put on my outfit and went back to hair and makeup to get touched up. Finally I was done and looked in the mirror at myself.

I started walking through the halls and I just realized I haven't seen Jon at all. I was confused I thought he said he was going to be here. I saw Joe in the hallway so I decided to ask him since them to are always together.

"Hey baby girl." Joe smiled.

"Hi Joey!" I smiled back.

"Do you know where Jon is?"

"Which Jon? My cousin Jon? John Cena? Orrr.."

"My boyfriend Jon you big doof." I laughed.

"Oh yeah him. He should be in the locker room." I smiled and nodded and said thank you.

"Rachel!" I groaned knowing it was almost time for the segment.

When I got to the gorilla Colby was almost there with Jamie and Joey. He saw me and smiled right away.
