Chapter 64
It was Sunday and Rachel was tired as hell. She worked all the live events facing superstars. She won every single match and boy did those guys not hold back. She liked the adrenaline. She and Colby got split up due to different schedules. But she checked in with him every so often.
She currently was walking into the arena in St. Louis she couldn't wait for Battleground. She got to the locker room and grabbed her bag and slipped into the bathroom. She had enough time to shower so she stripped her herself of her clothes.
She let the hot water run down her skin. She replayed everything that has happened in the past weeks play out in her head. She couldn't believe Jon and her were really over. She truly did love him but all he did was lie to her.
Finally she finished showering and wrapped a towel tightly around her body and wringed out her hair so it wasn't dripping wet. She was about to put on her undergarments but realized they were in her suitcase. She mentally cursed at herself. She opened the door and ran face first into a wall wait no scratch that. It was a person. Brock!
Brock looked at Rachel and felt heat rising to his face when he saw she was in just a towel. His eyes followed her as she walked to her suitcase and bent down to open it and grab something out of it. As she was walking back to the bathroom she turned back to Brock.
"Brocky. Red is a nice shade on you." She smirked and winked and went back into the bathroom and slipped on her jeans and top. He walked back out and Brock wasn't in the room.. She laughed and shook her head thinking about his reaction when he saw her. She's never seen him blushing before ever. She slipped on a pair of sandals and went to get her hair and makeup done.
-----
Rachel went back to her locker room to put on her boots and put on finishing touches. She smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. Soon Brock came through the door with a cupcake in hand. Rachel laughing seeing a beast of a man holding a cupcake.
"I saw them in catering and I knew they were your favorite." He smiled and handed it to her. It really was her favorite a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting.
"Thanks Brocky." She smiled and kissed his cheek making him turn a light shade of pink again. 2 in one day that's a score!
-----
It was time for Brock's match. Rachel was standing in between Brock and Paul. She was excited to go out there. She wanted to see Brock tear Rollins about. She adored Colby but not his character. That was one person she despised with everything in her.
Once Brock's music hit they went out. As Brock got in the ring the hazel eyed beauty stood on the apron. He learned to her and she grabbed his face in her hands. She put their foreheads together and she whispered to him.
"You kick his ass. Break him and make him pay Brock. I know you got this." She kissed his cheek and got off the apron. Brock never broke character. That's what Rachel liked when working with him. She could be the sweetest ever and he's still in beast mode.
----
Rachel and Paul stood cheering on Brock. He was kicking ass. He's hit Rollins with many suplexes. She was currently counting number 13. Brock then hit him with an F5 about to go for the pin when the lights went out. Rachel grabbed Paul's arm immediately. Then all that could be heard was the gong. The one belonging to The Undertaker. When the lights came back on he stood in the ring with Brock. Rachel thought she was going to pass out. She stood frozen as did Paul and even Brock. But they cheer has Brock got out of almost getting chokeslammed. But Rachel literally screamed when Undertaker hit Brock with a low blow. She got worried she knew it was downhill for Brock. She ran her fingers through her as just watching Brock get his ass kicked. When Undertaker got on his knee to pose Rachel slowly slid in the ring. Paul was to slow to stop her. The dead man eyed the young woman he's known since she was young. He watched as she knelt next to Brock checking on him.
