Jasper's P.O.V.
We arrived in Springfield after about two more hours of being on the train.
Throughout those two hours, Zev had pulled numerous stunts to try and get into my pants again. He had given me looks that were almost too much for me to handle, and when I closed my eyes, resting my head on the side of the train, he moved back over to my side, cuddling up next to me caressing my thigh.
I almost gave in with the growing pressure in my pants, but I was stronger than that. Well, I was until he started to whisper what he wanted to do to me in my ear. I could help but bite my lip and sigh a little.
But it was all over now.
My mum lives in the suburbs, so we had to take a taxi to her house from the station.
Soon enough we were at her front door.
I looked around. This is where I grew up, my home. That's the driveway where I learned how to ride a bike, played soccer with my mom and my childhood friends... I miss that, I miss it all.
"Hey, you ok?" Zev asked with concern. I was ok, it was just making me sad how much I've grown.
"Yeah, I'm ok." I raised my hand to knock. Zev was still looking at me as I stared into the eggshell-coloured door.
The door creaked open and there was my mother. Her eyes lit up when they met mine. "Jasper!" She stepped outside in her pyjamas and hugged me. "What a pleasant surprise." She let go of me. "And you've brought Zev along. Come in come in." She backed up into the house and we stepped in placing our bags down.
She shut the door and locked it. "How have you been mom?" I hadn't seen or spoken to her for a while.
"Good, great, but it's just a tad bit lonely, but between work and hobbies I keep myself occupied. Why didn't you call me and let me know you were coming, I could have prepared something, a snack for the two of you perhaps." I smiled, there she goes with the motherly stuff.
"No mom it's alright, you don't need to do anything, we're just dropping in, we'll be out of your hair tomorrow." I wish I could stay longer, but school.
"You better come and visit me more. I refuse to lose touch with my son." Her gaze shifted to Zev. "How's my favourite friend of this delinquent child of mine?"
"I'm better than ever Ms. J." He smiled brightly. He and my mother really get along well.
"Is he treating you well? Not causing you any problems?" I gave my mom a look, she just ignored me.
"Yeah of course. He treats me the best. I don't think he could cause problems for me if he tried." He giggled and my mom laughed too.
"Well, that's good. I'm glad to hear it." She turned to me again. "As for you," her tone and face was serious. "where are my grandchildren?" My eyes widened, shit. I'm gonna eventually have to tell her about me and Zev. "I'm getting old you know, I want to see my grandchildren get married and maybe see my great-grandchildren one day." She put her hands on her hips. I could tell she was half-joking the way she always does. She and Zev have that in common.
"I'm, well... I'm only 22, I have plenty of time to... do that." I forced a smile looking over at Zev. He was looking pale, maybe he had forgotten about the whole needing to eventually tell our families too. "W-we're gonna go put our stuff upstairs in my room, we'll be back down later, and maybe we could all watch a movie or something." I laughed, but it was just awkward. Crap.
I picked up my bag and Zev picked up his. "Oh alright, I'll prepare some lunch for you guys. You must be hungry after coming all the way down here." She turned away and walked into the kitchen before I could protest. I didn't want her to have any extra work. I just wanted to see my mom.
