"Astrid! Get up, come onn, we can't be late this year."

I roll over onto the other side of my bed and pull the covers up over my head.

Neville huffs and I hear him stomp out of my room. Finally, peace and quiet, I think to myself.

A few minutes pass before I hear footsteps coming towards my room again. I sigh then quickly jump out of bed and pretend to be looking for something.

"Oh noww you're up," my little brother says, clearly annoyed. "We've been late to the platform every year... can we please be early today?"

"We've never missed the train so technically we've never been late--" I point out. Neville gives me a death glare and I quickly add, "Sure, we'll be early this year. Give me fifteen minutes then we can leave."

He smiles and thanks me before exiting my bedroom. I shake my head and chuckle then sit on my bed. Okay, sixth year. Hogwarts. This should be... fun. I think to myself.

I grab my black sweatpants, a grey t-shirt, and my black and white converse then walk towards the bathroom that Neville and I share.

"Nev! Hurry up, I've gotta get ready if you wanna leave soon!" I knock on the door repeatedly until my little brother finally opens it. He gives me a look of annoyance before going downstairs. I smile and go into the bathroom.

Once I'm completely ready, I exit the bathroom, grab my trunk and backpack from my room, and go downstairs to where Gran and Neville are talking.

"I think you guys may actually be on time this year," Gran says with a wink. Neville laughs and grabs his bags then we all go outside and get in the car.

"Look who decided to show up," Dante jokes as I take a seat in the train compartment our group had claimed.

"Ay, at least she didn't nearly miss the train this year," Blaise laughs.

"Yeah! I mean she's actually on time for once," Johnny adds.

"Oh shove off guys," I chuckle and roll my eyes playfully then take a seat next to Johnny. I turn to face him and say, "You know, I think you would look really good as a ginger, Ponyboy."

"Absolutely not, Ash," he chuckles.

"Oh come on! I'll even dye it myself." I smile.

"No. Blondie, no. First of all, I don't trust you with hair dye, and second of all, no. Just no." Everyone in the compartment laughs.

"I think you could pull it off," Blaise comments. "Hey, did you guys hear about the new girl?" he asks us after the laughter ceases.

Fred, Ginny, and George enter the compartment and sit down. "What new girl?" Ginny asks.

"I don't know, I overheard Malfoy and his father talking about some sixth year transfer student from Beauxboton's." Blaise shrugs then opens a bag of chips and we all stare at him. He eats a few chips before returning his attention towards us. "Why are you guys looking at me like that...?"

"Because you just told us about a transfer student and then acted like it's no big deal--" Ginny answers. We all nod in agreement.

"There's gotta be a story there, right? I mean why would someone move schools if there's only a few years until graduation?" Johnny questions.
