Super Faith

Chapter 6

Mario, Luigi and Lightning were circled around a Small-sized Shiny Eevee with odd looking glasses. "E.gadd what exactly are you doing here?" Luigi asked.

"That's what I would like to ask you two. I didn't expect to see you both either, youngsters. But that's the least of our worries at the moment. We have some far worse things going on in this strange world now while they are here." E gadd explained.

"Y-you mean King Boo... We already know." Luigi said. "That's why we are here in the first place. He dragged me into a portal to here. But we know some things about this world. We've been here a few times already. Yet I'm unsure why he keeps transforming us into Eevees. Or could it be something else..."

"Interesting... I wonder what he wants from this universe?"

"Oh speaking of that, E. gadd, we like you to meet our friend Lightning." Mario added. "She's a Pikachu."

"I see. So she's like a guide for you in this univer-"

"No! She is more than a guide. She's our best friend here!" Luigi interrupted as if he was offended.

"Oh... my apologies," he stated lowering his head in guilt.

Lightning put a paw on Luigi's shoulder to calm him down. "It's nice to meet you, professor. A friend of the brothers is a friend of mine." She replied with a small smile, offering a paw for him to shake.

"It's nice to meet you too, young lady. And my name is Professor Elvin Gadd but you can call me E.gadd for short." The shiny Eevee professor said as he shook her paw.

"Well it's good to see some familiar fellers here. Anyhoo, we do need to think of a plan to stop those ghosts. Since the Poltergust isn't an option here, we will need to think of something else."

"The only way I know what we can do is learn stronger attacks so we can defend ourselves better," Lightning replied.

"Attacks? You mean fighting those ghosts single handedly without any proper protection or weapons?"

"Uh...We kind of are the weapons..." Lightning responded rubbing the back of her head in minor embarrassment.

"I don't think he knows what moves we are capable of learning," Mario said.

"Like how we started out in this world. Where we didn't really know a thing either." Luigi replied.

"Right..." Mario slowly nodded.

"So how about when we wake up in the morning tomorrow we'll start by meeting the Pokémon of this village and see if they can teach us some stronger moves." Lightning suggested.

The brothers nodded in agreement. Then they got comfortable in an unoccupied den provided by Faith so they could rest for the night.

The next morning, Lightning and her Eevee friends wake up early to eat breakfast and start their long day of training and got to know more of the Pokémon that resided in Eeveeville.

E.gadd decided to not train since he was too old to fight anyways but he offered to watch the brothers train since they needed it most.

Mario started off with learning some moves from a large Shiny Flareon. "Hello young Red Eevee, my name is Pyre. You must be Mario. What can I do for you?"

Mario took out his Fire Stone that was provided by the village so he could use it. He absorbed it—evolving into Flareon. "I'd like to learn a new stronger move."

"Of course! I know a few strong moves that I can teach you one at a time. Which one would you like to try first? I can teach you Flamethrower, Super Power, Giga Impact and Overheat. Or you could learn other moves from any of the other Flareon here. The strongest fire type move a Flareon can learn is Flare Blitz. Although I will have to warn you that that move has recoil damage and can hurt you."
