To The Rescue!

I heard another noise behind me as if it, whatever IT was, was trying to be caught. I turn around, ready to attack but again, nothing was there.

" Well, what do we got here?" A voice said behind me. I turned around to see...

Alec's stupid pack found me. I really regret running now. What if he hurts me for leaving, denying him? What if he doesn't care that I am his mate, but a rouge? I need to stop thinking like that, I ran because he kidnapped me!

One problem, I do not see Alec, nor do I see any familiar faces to stop these wolves from attacking me. So, I did the only thing I can think of, I scream bloody murder.

"ALEC! I AM GONNA DIE PLEASE SAVE ME!"

All the fellow wolves around me look confused as I just screamed for their Alpha to save me.

"Now who do you think you are pretending to know my Alpha?! He won't save a rouge, like YOU." Said the man with the most authority. I could tell he was a Delta, a fighter. I stood no chance running, fighting or talking back. This also scared me. What if Alec wasn't looking for me? What if he got bored and sent people to kill me?

I scream for Alec again as he started to approach me. I was surrounded and they were all closing in on me. I am pressed up into a tree, bark pressing into my skin as I tried to sink away from these massive and strong people. This is it. I am going to die here, now and nobody could stop it.

All my dreams, stories, memories and thoughts would be gone in an instant. I won't ever be able to forgive Alec, find true love within us, see the good and bad, nothing. I felt my heart break at the idea of losing my mate. The one thing I ran from is going to kill me.

All of a sudden, we hear an all too familiar, booming voice. "GET AWAY FROM HER OR I WILL KILL YOU MYSELF! YOU HEAR ME?!"

Alec. I  slowly look up, making eye contact with Alec. He looks furious. I can't tell if it's with his pack or me but I couldn't care less.

I ran through the group of people and grabbed Alec's shirt. I needed the comfort of his scent, of him. I wrapped my arm around his torso, being the highest place I can reach because this man is SO tall. I gripped Alec and sobbed. 

"Hey hey hey! Look it's okay little mate. I am right here." Alec said softly, wrapping his one arm around my waist and picking me up. I straddled him and cried harder into his shoulder. 

"I- I *hiccup* I am s-s-sorry." I manage to make out while crying. Alec rubs my back, soothing the places where I had bark pressed up against me. I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck, slowly catching my breath. His scent made me feel safe. 

He started walking, still holding me in his arms, while he mumbled an "It's okay, I am just glad you are safe little one."

As we lead the group from Alec's pack, I heard some whispering. I look up to see all the wolves who surrounded me, now staring at me with a look of shock and guilt in their eyes. All except one. In the Delta's face, you can see remorse. 

I assume it from his harsh words, due to the fact that this rouge is his Luna. He refused to make eye contact with me. 

I put a hand on Alec's shoulder, asking him to stop. He looked hesitant but after I reassured him I planned on going nowhere, he placed me on the ground softly. I took a few small steps towards the group behind us. 

I turn back towards Alec, giving him a lop-sided smile. "What is his name and role in your pack?" I ask, pointing at the Delta.

"Our pack," Alec says quickly, shocking me. "This is our Delta, Warren." He says with pride.
