2 weeks. It has been 2 weeks since I've been running from my father and his pack.
Let me explain.
My name is Katerina Amelia Decardo. I am 23 years young, born in 2047. I am 5''1' and have long red hair, and a mix of bright and forest green eyes, just like my mother. I am the 7th and youngest child of my parents. My mother died a few years ago, due to a rouge attack.
My father is Richard Decardo. He is the second most powerful alpha in the country. We were close. Keyword: 'were'. A couple of years ago my mother died in a rogue attack. It was just a normal day that turned to hell.
~Flashback~
I walked downstairs to go get some lunch as I was starving! I haven't eaten all day.
As I was walking downstairs, I could hear my dad talking to his pack.
I found it strange, I am his daughter and I wasn't notified that there was a pack meeting. I decided to hide around the corner and listened in on what my father was saying.
"-ould like to announce that my daughter-"
That got me interested since I am a part of this and I was not told about the pack meeting. Me being me, I decided to still listen in.
"- will be put into an arranged marriage. As I announce this my daughter has not been notified of it so please do not tell her until I have had a chance to speak to her. Thank you. Meeting over."
As everyone dispersed, it felt as if my feet were glued to the ground. My throat went dry and my tongue felt as if it was sandpaper. I just had so many questions.
Why did my father not discuss this with me first?
