chapter 3

A/n: I decided to make this into a one direction fanfiction because I love one direction and I haven't read a story like this yet 

Now that you know my backstory and all that there's to know about me. Allow me to tell you the real reason for this story. This isn't just some normal story where the guy gets the girl, and everything turns out easy and right? No that would make things too easy and predictable. This story includes the boyband one direction. yes, you read that right. What will happen when Sofie befriends 1/5th of the most famous boyband in the world one direction and how will they respond to her having a disability? will they ultimately fall in love?  keep reading to find out. 

TWO YEARS EARLIER: 

Sophies POV: 

" oh no, no I'm gonna be late for my first day of school". I mentally curse myself when I wake up and find that my alarm clock had not been plugged in the night before making me late for school. I reach over my grey and white nightstand and grab my phone.  7:00 a.m. great I only have an hour to get ready and head to school. this day is starting out on a  great note. not. 

I put my phone down, and I scoot my way to my wheelchair to transfer out of bed. 

After I transfer into my wheelchair, I roll to my closet to pick out my clothes for the day. I picked out a solid black t-shirt and ripped jeans. 

" Mom!" I yell so she can help me get dressed.  After, I got dressed and prepared for the day. I chose to head into the kitchen and fix myself something to eat. I settle on simply some eggs.  

As soon as I finished my breakfast I grabbed my car keys from the key holder and went out the front door and down my ramp. The moment I get into my car, one direction's little things started to play. You can say I'm a huge fan even though I've never been to one of their concerts I would love to one day. it only takes me 10 minutes to get to the school and when I finally arrive I find my parking spot and turn off my car and meet up with one of my friends Josie. 

"Hey, girl" I cheerfully say to her as we meet up and sit down at one of the tables nearby our first class. "hey" she replies less happy, but I know that's just because it's early in the morning, and mornings aren't her thing. 

" Okay, I understand mornings aren't your thing but can you please try to be slightly more enthusiastic. It is the first day of school after all. 

" the only thing that would make me happy right now is if Harry styles would magically walk into the room" oh yeah, I forgot to mention that she is also a one direction fan which is what made us best friends. Not only that but she's the only one who doesn't bully me for being in a wheelchair.   

"anyway...what time is it? our classes should be starting soon? I ask her as I look down at my watch but as soon as I look up someone accidentally trips over my chair 

" oh my god, I am so sorry I didn't see you there. I wasn't watching where I was going," the mystery person kept babbling on until I shut them up

" Woah!  it's okay really I wasn't watching my surroundings either apparently" I was too busy looking at my watch to notice that the boy was still staring at me while I was talking to Josie. 

" Are you sure your alright?" I ask the stranger. 

" hm? oh yeah I'm fine I didn't mean to stare I just think you're really pretty"  he replied shyly

I blushed at his compliment, but for some reason, I couldn't but feel that I knew that accent from someplace. Could it be someone that I have a class with just never talked to them? No, it sounds more ordinary than that. Then who could it- oh wait? the accent sounded Irish then it struck me like a ton of bricks. 

Niall Horan, from one direction, just tripped over me.
