'Malivore'

Y/n's POV

Alaric was let out but he was compelled to forget what happened. Him and Caroline are partners now.

"Given recent events, some students have expressed concern that I am not allowing you to have a say in decisions that affect your future. And I agree." Alaric begins.

I'm sitting next to Hope and she leans her head on my shoulder. Josie is sitting next to me with Penelope next to her and Lizzie is beside Penelope. Jed and MG are behind us.

"If you are expected to abide by this school's policies, it's only fair that you have a voice in how those rules are made." Alaric says and I see Lizzie and Josie high five each over Penelope.

"So, I am forming an honor council. One vampire, one witch, and one werewolf, each elected by their peers. Along with our school counselor Emma, whose vote will represent the younger students. Now, I have to go off-campus. In the meantime, I expect you to make good decisions and to vote wisely. That's all. You're dismissed." Alaric finishes and we all stand up to leave.

Hope grabs my hand and we follow Alaric. We see him pass Rafael and MG before he opens his car door.

Hope lifts up her other hand and closes it. "Are you kidding me?" Hope asks and I stand behind her.

"Am I under assault today?" Alaric asks himself.

"You get to interrogate a tree nymph, and I have to run Landon's 23andMe." Hope says in disbelief.

"First of all, it's a dryad, not a nymph. Second of all, I need a witch to run the testing spells." Alaric tells her.

"Get Emma to do it." Hope says.

"She can supervise. Plus, if Landon can convince you that he belongs, he can convince anybody." Alaric explains.

"You're enjoying this." Hope states and he nods.

"I am. I left you instructions in my office. Try not to kill him." Alaric says that last part to both of us.

With that said, he gets in his car and drives away. Hope sighs and I hug her from behind, "I'll go with you." I tell her and she nods.

I kiss her neck quickly before I grab her hand and we walk back inside. "Let's go." Hope says and we walk to Alaric's office.

We pass Hayley and Rebecka on the way, "Hey guys!" Hayley says and I wave.

"What are you guys doing?" Rebecka asks.

"We have to test Landon to see if he's supernatural. While Y/n tries not to kill him." Hope explains and I nod.

They laugh, "Good luck. Y/n you're wolf seems to be really overprotective." Hayley notes and I nod. "Move along then. See you guys later."

Hope and I walk into Alaric's office, Caroline had gone out for the day to do something. I don't know what though.

I sit down in a chair and Hope sits on my lap, after a few minutes, I randomly speak up. "Can I take you out tonight or tomorrow morning?" I ask her, Hope turns her head to look at me.

"Of course, baby." Hope says and kisses me, I smile against her lips.

She pulls away and I take out my phone. I put my hands on her lap and look over her shoulder to scroll through Instagram.

The door opens, we turn to see Landon. "What are you guys doing here?" Landon asks as he walks in.

Hope stands up and I stand up behind her, "Dr. Saltzman wanted me to administer your tests, starting with some weird mystical blood analysis." Hope explains and I nod.
