Amanda.
That was all I could think about.
Currently I was staring at the ceiling laying on my back. For the hundredth time a pulled out my watch, which I kinda maybe took from Sierra, 11:57. One more. One more hour till we find out. It hurt just thinking about if Amanda would be coming into their lives, I didn't want her to get caught up in all the supernatural buisness. Still not able to sleep with Amanda on my mine I got up and went to get a drink of water to calm my nerves. With all the , as I call them, super senses I easily went down the stairs and into the kitchen. As I walked in I heard humming , my ear strained at the noise. It was sweet but sad. Peering around the corner I saw the back of someone's head.
AMANDA POV
I pulled the brush through my hair for the 45th time, but whose counting....
I had grown so a custom to having scruffy sleep next to me, I wonder why he didn't show up. Maybe it was because last night I drooled on him, but it wasn't my fault. He smelt really good in my defence. Smiling at the thought of scruffy I sighed. He was the only thing I had, beside conner.
I hadn't even noticed I was crying until a tear fell on my hand, which was in my lap. Whipping my tear I shivered. I left balcony open for him like I did every night.
I breathed deeply in, causing some of the cold air to fill my lounges. I tried to breath it out but instead I started a coughing fit. ( has this ever happened to anyone else?) About a minute or two I stop, but my throut burned from being dry. Hesitantly I got up from my bed, praying to god, hoping it wouldn't squeak waking the rest of the girls.
My throut stinged with every breath I tried to conceal (don't feel, put on a show. Make one wrong move and everyone will know.XD perfect phrase for this moment).
Thanking my lucky stars for letting me escape without waking up, I tip toed down the stares into the kitchen. I grabbed a glass and filled it quickly with water, thinking my quickness would mean less noise, meaning no one would wake up. I shut off the faucet and waited for a sec or two, trying to make sure no one woke up.
Sighing in relief I jumped onto the island counter. I swung my legs back and forth, chugging the water. My throut begging for more after each gulp. finishing my water
I started to Hum a song my parents taught me, it just felt right for me to hum. It was a sad song , but it reminded my of them. My mother said it was their song, and I would always see them dancing to it. I started thinking of scruffy as it made me think of how our friendship was like the lyrics.
I was half way through the song a hand touched my sholder. I jumped as I thought it janelle or Sierra. I stood still hoping this was a bad dream, being caught was never good. It usually lead to no eatting. My breathing quicker at the thought of that, but I was really surprised when it turned out to be nick.
I only noticed it was him because he whirled me around and pulled me into a hug. Still shocked my arms went stiff as he hugged me but I started to relax and I wrapped my arms around him. Not knowing when to pull back we both stayed there for a while. After a while it got awkward and we let go of each other. I looked up into his eyes and saw pain, sadness, and something else but I could be wrong .......
his eyes twitched down towards my lips lingering there for a while then looking up. I was all very confused about this.
NICK POV
Without thinking I kissed her.
I can't even believe I did it. I just closed my eyes and kisses her, wrapping my arms around her waist through instinct. I could tell she was shocked by her not doing anything, just standing like plank. What came next shocked me more than I bet the kiss shocked her.
She. Kissed. Me. Back.
Her arms went around my neck and her lips moved with mine. I could've kissed her forever. She tasted just like she smelled but sweeter, so not apples but applepie. I mean this wasn't the first time I kissed her but it was for my human form, not my wolf form. Her hands tugged lightly at my hair as she played with it. Sadly the kiss came to an end as footsteps approached us.
