CONNER POV
I walked down the stairs quickly, trying to figure out why nick wasn't asleep. I also caught the faint scent of Amanda. The scent grew stronger as I followed Nick's. Curiosity was getting the best of me so a rushed down the hall into the kitchen, and their I saw it. Nick and Amanda eatting each other's faces. Horror struck. I didn't make a move. Praying she wasn't my mate, I glanced at the clock.
I smirked as I saw it was past time. Now all I have to do is play the part of the angry boyfriend.
I made my self noticeable. nicks back was faced towards me so Amanda was the first one to see me. her eyes widened and she pulled herself away from nick and scooted away from him.
"Um... Hey conner" she said while fixing her hair, which was everywhere.
pulling all my acting skills I could muster, I formed tears in my eyes; "How could you?"
AMANDA POV

"How could you?"
Those words pierced my heart.y His eyes were full of emotion. The main one was relief. That puzzeled me, but his body laungue showed he was angry.
"It- It's not what it looks like" I stuttered. "HE. KISSED. ME!!" I pointed to Nick, who was just sitting on the counter in the middle of the kitchen with his hands in his lap. how can he be so calm!
"I'm sorry Amanda but I don't think I can date a person who makes out with some one else. not just anyone my brother!"
My eyes began to water as he walked away I turned to nick and slapped him."THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" I rushed to the girls room, my eyes probably red by now. I really needed scruffy right now. he would comfort me and help me get him. maybe something happened to him.
I'll look for him, I think.
Maybe something happened to him, plus it'll be a good distraction. I rushed down the stairs and soon enough I was at the front door. I look around me making sure I wasn't being followed. I opened the door slowly and slipped outside.
The cold air rushed around me as I walked barefooted to the spot where I meet Scruffy during the day. It was a cave, well sort of. Instead of the entrance being on the side it was just a hole in the roof of it. There were vines that led from the outside into the inside.
Before I knew it I was there.
I grabbed the biggest vine and started to slide down. I guess the vine was weak because all of a sudden it snapped and I fell landing on my butt. I didn't even care that I was stuck in there.
All I did for an hour in that cave was cry. I feel so terrible, so dirty for what I did. Which is funny since I was in a dirty hole...
Life just isn't fair ya know, and I can't even rant to my best friend(@EmilyTheWise I've done that to you multiple times)
I stayed there all night waiting for scruffy to come, but he never did. Once I decided to get back the nightingale boys were gone and I got an ear full from janelle.
Sorry I haven't updated I think I'm going to stop writing the story since I have a different thing......
Anyway I wanted you guys to have this chapter and if you want me to keep writing plz tell me, maybe it might happen. If it doesn't plz tell me if you want to know how the story unfolds with less description I will tell you a summary of it
