Slowly I started to eat my meal, taking in my surroundings. The walls were an ivy green all around the house and on the roof. And the brick outside was a Tanish color.
I was the last one to finish my meal,so I walked alone into the girls room to grab something. Once I got it I walked outside and sat underneath an oak tree a little bit into the woods.
No one would notice I'm gone.
Once I got comfortable I opened my fovorite book that a brought back from home, Alice 's adventures in Wonderland.
ALICE was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, "and what is the use of a book," thought Alice, "without pictures or conversations?"So she was considering, in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid) whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her. There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!" (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural); but, when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and, burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge. In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again. The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down what seemed to be a very deep well
I had just gotten to my favorite part of the story when I heard a bush move. "H....hello? Is anybody there?"
I slowly got up from my spot and walked to the bush that had moved. As I reached the bush, it had started to wiggle around again, but this time I heard whimpering.
Thinking it was a dog or something I stuck my hand in trying to touch whatever was making that noise. I put her my hand on the thing and it stopped moving. Slowly I moved the bush so I could see what is was.
Yes it was a dog but not the kind I'm use to. In fact it was a wolf pup trapped in the bush."awww you poor thing"
Quickly I got the pup out of the bush and put it in my lap.
"Where are you parents little guy?" The wolf started to wimper."shh it's OK I don't have parents either"
I started to stroke it's fur
" it's ok, your ok now" the pup winced in pain as a stroked a part of its back.
What was that
Carfully I stroked it's fur up to see what was wrong. Once I did I noticed a bullet graze on its shoulder. Thinking fast I ripped a part of my sleeve and tied it around the wolf carfully. It winced in pain as I did so nut stopped when it was completely on.
"So..wait do you have a name?"
It shook it's head no. "You can understand me?!"
It nodded. "OK that is so cool!!!"
The pup smiled."OK so back to the name buisness, what would you want to be called"
It shrugged it's sholders."how about wolfie!"
It's smile turned into a frown and it shook it's head.
"Alright then, how about coca?"
It shook no again.
"OK how about scruffy?"
It smiled and nodded excitedly
"OK scruffy it is!!"
scruffy started to jump round me and yip. Over the yipping I heard janelle call for us to go in. " now what am I going to do with you?" Janelle started to yell louder." I'll come back later for you " I said as I ran off to the front door.
