Fairytale High (Laxus x Lucy)

Plot

Laxus and Lucy have known each other since they were 7 and 5. They are super close and rely on each other for almost everything. They face all of life's challenges side by side and stuck together like glue. When Lucy's mother died, Lucy had to move half way across the world at the age of 13 on her father's demand leaving Laxus and Lucy's Aunt behind. Lucy lost contact with both Laxus and her aunt Anna. They had thought she would never come back but Lucy had left a letter for Laxus before her departure.
Dear Laxus. Please wait for me. I will come back to you. I am not able to give you an exact date. It may be years before I come back but please... wait for me..

Laxus didn't know what to think of that but he did hold faith and waited for her to return to him. After that day he grew cold towards everyone. He took up football and Basketball to give him a new focus. He made friends over the years that could withstand his coldness and a good support team. Laxus still held onto the little faith he had left that she would return but as the years went buy it grew smaller and smaller  as for Lucy, her life was a living hell. Her father slowly turned abusive blaming Lucy for Layla's death. Lucy was already planning to run away so she took up jobs to safe up money for the big say. One day Jude had beat Lucy half way to death and Lucy could not handle it anymore so she ran away. Running back to the only place she knew she would be safe. Magnolia. She moved in with her aunt and enrolled into fairytale high. Little did she know that was the same high school her long lost best friend went to.
What would happen when they met again?
How would Laxus react to seeing her after so many years of being gone?
Would their bond still be strong or did Laxus develop a hatred for her for leaving him for so long?
What would happen if they both caught feelings for each other?
