Maru walks around with a pack of book and he'd bumps into someone making the book falls down all over the ground.
"Hey! Watch where you're going." Maru said as he rubs his head.
"Sorry about that, you need help?" The figure said, getting on their knees and began to take the book that is everywhere the ground.
"Whatever." Maru then began to grabbing the books around, helping them and then in the middle of grabbing the books.
Maru and the figure suddenly grabbing the same book, making them having an eye contact to eachother.
Their eyes looking at eachother before they quickly throw their head away with a blush, Maru quickly stands up from the ground and hugs the book closed to him while his attention looking down.
"Thanks for helping me..." He said softly "I'm Maru by the way, how about you?"
"Me?" The figure let's out a chuckle as they scratching their head, letting out a soft laugh. "You can call me Nagito Komaeda, the ultimate lucky."
"...Nice to meet you Nagito Komaeda." Maru smiled at him.
"Same goes to you Maru." Nagito said.
After that incident, Maru and Nagito began to hanging out together. They began to get closer and closer day by day until the day where Nagito asked Maru to meet him under the sakura tree after school which Maru agreed at the request.

The students walks out of the class and Maru just stuffed the books inside the bag before walking out at the class along with the students.
He looks around trying to find Nagito, Maru is a forgotfull person...he can always forget things easily especially names but since they've been hanging out these past few months so there's no way he can't forget about him right?
Walking outside the school while keep trying to find Nagito around the school, his attention turned to a Sakura tree where's the a figure standing under it.
Maru walks towards the sakura tree slowly, gripping his bag tring not to be a nervous guy and as he went closer and closer, he can see the blur person began to get clearer and clearer, revealing Nagito standing as he waiting for someone and the someone is the one who is screaming his name.
"Nagito! There you are, I've been looking for you." Maru then stopped running, stoping Infront of Nagito as he trying to catch his breath. "What are you doing here? I've been looking for you."
"Haha, silly~! I've told you to meet here." Nagito smiled which Maru respond with a smile.
"Did you? I didn't remember that." Maru scratches his head.
"You always been the forgotfull one Maru, maybe I should left a note on your desk next time."
"You should."
Nagito response with nodding his head before everything went silence, the soft fresh wind rubbing their skin as the flower dancing to the wind. Some of the Sakura's flower would float down and softly hits the ground.
"Maru...uhm"
"...?"
"I like you, please go out with me." Nagito said, his face is red as the beautiful rose.
Maru stayed silence for a second, staring down at Nagito who is just confessing all of his love towards him.
"Nagito..." His straight line mouth suddenly went all up, making a smile. "i like you too."
