He was a child lied to
Named the god of such things
Though he knew he was hated
The mental wound did still sting

And cast out he was
By his own desire
But to worse he would come
To burn in mad fire

His hands were bound
And lips were sewn
But death would not take him
For her own

When seen next
A year passed by
Yet no one to question
What he'd survived

His eyes were tired
And sunken in
His face was gaunt
And body thin

No one to care
That he was controlled
He was forced to obey
Do what he's told

If not madness reigned
And would come crashing down
To save himself and realm
He was beaten to the ground

And as he killed
Shed a tear
Through sapphire eyes
Be known his fear

And fight they would
He had no choice
For madness had seized him
Silenced his voice

And broken and beaten
He was and heroes found
Where he'd been left
And they would surround

Blood of his dripped
Crimson red
And he rejoiced the madman
Was gone from his head

But nightmares ensued
Telling of torment
And his once-father's voice
Screamed he'd pay for it

And so rot he did
The emerald eyed god
His reputation scarred
Though evil was fraud

Another poem I wrote a while ago! This one's a little different that the previous, as it has a rhyme scheme that is all but constant and a general rule regarding the length of each line, plus the number of lines in each stanza.

As always, I hope you enjoyed. See you soon for another work!
