Chapter 11

I was walking while holding a huge pile of papers, I looked out the window and stopped. It's Gab and Charmaine, they're talking. That's great. They're now friends. Ahhh.. at last. The final stage has come.

I started walking while looking at the pile of papers that I'm holding. When suddenly I bumped on someone.

"Sorry.", I said.

"LENNY!", a cheerful greeting came out. I looked at his face but he hugged me tightly.

The papers are going to crumple. "Excuse me. Who are you?", I asked.

"Guess.", he giggled.

"A stranger.", I stomped on his feet and grabbed the chance to get out of his arms. I looked at him again. It's BJ!!

BJ is my childhood bestfriend. He went to a far away place when we are in 1st year high school.

"BJ!", I showed a pretty surprised expression.

"Hello Lenny!"

"When did you arrive here?", I asked.

"Just now. I'm going to school here. I was about to look for you. But what a coincidence.", he smiled. I smiled back.

Ahh... it's so good to have a bestfriend.

I brought the papers to the guidance and went to talk with BJ. We sat at a bench outside.

"How have you been?", I asked.

"Alright. How about you?", he asked.

"I was a bit lonely. How dare you leave me behind!", I slapped his arm. He just laughed.

"Yana is entering a violin contest. Do you want to come with us?", I asked.

"Oh. Sure. I wonder what she looks like now. She's like 11 when I left.", he said.

"She became even prettier.", I smiled.

"Ohhh... How about you? You've changed."

"Yeah. A big change.", I nodded. "I guess you already know the reason."

"Yes of course. Do you still see him?", he asked. I shook my head then the bell rang.

"Bye! I have to go now.", I stood up.

"I'll wait for you at the main gate after school.", he said.

"Oh no. I have club practice."

"Okie.", he gave me a thumbs up and waved.

I ran to our classroom. Luckily, the teacher is still not there. I sat down quietly on my seat and behaved.

The lessons are getting harder. I really have to focus now.

Class dismissed early. I walked calmly to our club room. As I arrived the front door, my girl clubmates are huddling. I poked someone.

"What's happening?", I asked.

"There's a cutie here.", she squealed.

Cutie?

I got across by the side. I went to the locker room and put my things inside my locker. I took my p.e uniform and went out.

"LENNY!", I heard BJ's voice. All of the girls went staring at me. BJ went out of the crowd.

"Oh!? Why are you here?", I asked.

"Didn't I say I'll wait for you?", he grinned.

I scoffed."Geez. You're too persistent. I never thought you would be the 'cutie' they're talking about."

BJ laughed. "That hurts."

"Wait outside. You're pestering our concentration.", I said. He went outside and sat a bench nearby.

"Hey Lenny! Is that your boyfriend?"

"You've never told us about that?"

"He's not.", I replied. I turned around and aimed at the target.

"Then what is he to you?", Kelly asked.

"A childhood bestfriend.", I released the arrow. 9 points.

"You're lucky."

"No. I'm blessed.", I replied.
