Am I dead?
Is this what death feels like? Everything is just... black?
I didnt think death would be so heavy and uncomfortable, like something is covering my face and laying on top of me. I can't breath through whatever is blocking my nose and mouth; if I'm not dead already, ill suffocate and actually die.
I try to scream and force myself upwards, but whatever force is holding me down won't budge.
Suddenly, an arm that isn't mine rips the black substance off of my face, taking hold of my legs and forcing me upwards. Hazard does what she did earlier and begins to take over my whole body, purplish veins and tentacles clambering up my body and over my head.
The hulking black thing is shoved off of me and thrown backwards. We notice that it's the same guy that tried to eat her just last night and threatened to do the same to me.
"Who are you,, and why are you on Earth?" The little bitch asks. Well, not so little; I may have gained a lot of height from hazard, but it's still taller than us, however not by much. Definitely more muscle mass than us, but that's most likely due to my feminine figure.
"Do you not know me through the hive? You should know what mission we were sent to accomplish here, do you not?" Hazard says. I have no idea what the hive is, but the way she speaks about it and the way that the other dude responds to it must mean that it's important.
"I've severed almost all connections with the hive; I only know what I knew before I was sent to Earth. I do not have recollection of you or your mission. Tell me what your purpose here is, or I will be inclined to remove you from this planet, one way or another," it growls, tongue lashing as it prepares to lunge for us.
"Please, there is no need... I'm Hazard, sent here to learn how rule this inferior race of humans... they are unruly and self destructive. I will save them and reap the benefits of their rather delicious heads... and chocolates," Hazard says.
I cringe at the way she speaks of humans, almost like we're street dogs or something. That we need help, and these aliens are therefore able to do whatever they see fit with us, "teaching" us how to be civilized and act accordingly, and then, well, eating us after that is said and done.
"Ah. So I see the hive has not changed their goals since I was deployed on my mission. Well, unfortunately, that was not the right answer," the Klyntar snaps, and leaps at us.
Hazard senses and anticipates it's movements, shooting out a long strand of purple, slicing it's way straight into it's thick neck. It falls, gagging on the ground, ripping the spear-liie limb from its mouth before more tentacles envelope it's large body, pinning it up against a nearby tree.
We walk over to where it's struggling, trying to break free of Hazard's grasp.
"You're weak. Perhaps you haven't been ingesting enough phenethylamine, friend. You're host has been restraining you, hasn't he?" Hazard says, getting up close to his face as she speaks.
"Chocolate... tastes better," the Klyntar chokes out, before shooting out an inky-black tentacle of it's own, shoving us back with a large amount of force.
