My Best Friend Crush: An Eric x Kyle story

Chapter One

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing and quickly grabbed my phone and answered the call from my beautiful girlfriend. 

"Morning babe" I stated half sleepily while getting out of bed and ready for the school day ahead of me. 

"You will not believe what Selena said to Melissa about Trina and her new boyfriend or should I say the guy who is totally sleeping with Mia behind her back" She started rambling about some new drama she heard of from some of her friends. I smiled slightly while getting into the shower. Trust me I absolutely love having Olivia as my girlfriend. She's a great girl and an amazing morning alarm, it's just that sometimes I end up tunning her out because she talks really fast and about things that I don't really care about. 

"That's not good" I stated safely since I wasn't really paying attention. 

"Eric, listen I'm not going to say this twice. Saturday I need you to bring flowers and your papered information. That's the only way to impress my father" She explained slowly and I took note of her weird list while getting dressed for the day. I decide to wear some casual jeans and one of the shirts that Olivia picked for me. She hates when I wear the shirts that I like picking out. 

"Got it! Flowers and papers" I confirmed with her and she seemed happy enough. I left my room and headed downstairs to get some breakfast before school. I entered the kitchen and noticed that nobody was around. I guess Brianna is still asleep.

"Okay I'll see you at school in a few," She told me before hanging up the phone. I smiled while making myself some eggs. It's always good to have some protein in the morning. I quickly ate my eggs with fresh toast before going to pack my bag to leave in a few minutes. I looked at the time on my phone before raising an eyebrow. Brianna should be up by now, I wonder what's keeping her? I sighed before going back upstairs and walking to her room down the hall from mine. I knocked on her door and entered once I got no answer. I saw the sleeping girl in bed and sighed. 

"Brianna get your little bratty butt out of bed, you have school and I swear I will pour water on you" I yelled at my little sister while opening her curtains. 

"Why are you waking me up at...Holy shit it's eight am" She yelled while jumping out of bed. I slightly laughed at her panicked expression. 

"Why do you think I woke you up?" I told her while rolling my eyes. 

"Why thank you, graceful king, for waking me up when I'm late" She stated sarcastically. It's not my fault she didn't set an alarm. 

"You are welcome" I bowed before walking out of her room. I don't have time for this. 

"I want you ready in five minutes or you're walking" I yelled at her from downstairs and headed to the car I share with her. I adjusted the mirror and quickly texted my girlfriend before Brianna entered my car looking comfy for school. 

"What took you so long?" I jokingly asked her, knowing that she only took three minutes to get ready. 

"Three minutes bitch, shut up. Anyways, where's mom?" She asked me, quite aggressively. 

"In the back with Angela, you know her and her garden" I explained to her while starting the car. 

"Yep, now move the car. You're going to make us late" I rolled my eyes at her dramatic thinking before starting the short drive to school. I decided to play some music since Brianna doesn't ever talk during our drives. She plugged in her own music and we drove in silence. Once we pulled into the school, Brianna jumped out of the car before I even had a chance to stop the car. 

"One day I'll run over you," I told her while she started to run towards the school. I rolled my eyes at my sister's weird antics before pulling into a parking spot and leaving the car once it was fully parked. I walked over to the school in search of my girlfriend. I walked to my locker to grab my things before going to search for my friends. I left my locker and went towards the cafeteria. I know that Mike is probably there with Cedric. Once I entered the room, I quickly noticed Brianna with her friends. I couldn't help but stare at Kyle. Goodness that boy grew up to be so cute. 

"Hey Eric" Kyle waved at me once I walked by and I ignored him. I can't let him distract me, he's just some gay weirdo and I'm not gay. I walked over to my friends and kissed my girlfriend. I'm not gay, I have a girlfriend. 

Chapter one is officially done! So this is obviously the first chapter of "MBFC" but written in Eric's POV and this is what he did before waking Brianna up. Also, Eric is obviously not gay because he has a girlfriend and gay boys don't have girlfriends right? Makes sense. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
