I got to Troll Market as fast as I could. Jim, Blinky, and Argh were all waiting for me at the bottom of the crystal staircase. Argh looked exhausted, he kept closing his eyes and shooting them back open. Blinky was the exact opposite, he was rambling on about something to Jim, I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. "Hey wingman, you okay?" I asked Argh. He shook his head to wake up, he nodded after. "You should really get some sleep, Argh. You've been trying to stay awake for the past 2 days!" Blinky said, Argh just shook his head when Blinky finished, basically saying no. He started swaying a little when he stopped shaking his head. Blinky put his hands on Argh's arm to help him gain his balance. "Wingman, you really should sleep." I told him. "No. I'm fine." Argh said and sat down, holding his head. "Why won't he sleep?" Jim asked Blinky. "I unfortunately don't know, he refuses to tell me." He responded. I looked at Argh, who was about to fall asleep. I stayed quiet until he had his eyes closed for 5 seconds. "What do you mean?" Jim asked, raising his voice to a normal volume. "Shhh! He's asleep." I hissed in a whisper. Jim and Blinky looked at Argh, who was sleeping while he was sitting up. They chuckled, Jim went and sat by him. Just then my phone started ringing, causing Jim and Blinky to stare at me. I turned it on silent and then answered it, walking away. It was Alex. "Hey what's up?" I asked into the phone. "There's green monsters in your room!" Alex streaked, I heard a goblin say "Waka Chaka" and then Alex screamed and the call ended. I went back to the crew. "Jim, I need your help. Goblins are at my house!" I said, forgetting to whisper. This caused Argh to wake up. "Goblins?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes. "Oops...sorry, didn't mean to wake you up, buddy." I said to Argh, who was standing now. "Deal with goblins. Sleep later." Argh said with a soft smile. "But my friend is staying at my house, I dont really want her to know about the whole "trolls exist" thing yet." I told him. "Alex is finally here?" Jim asked, his face beaming. "Yeah, she just showed up after school." I said as I started heading up the stairs. "Wanna help," Argh paused "goblins will sense fear." He finished. "No, you get some sleep. You need it, Argh." Jim said, coming up the steps behind me. "He's not gonna listen, just let him come. And Argh, dont let Alex see you." I commanded. Argh nodded and the three of us went to my house. Nana was out for the night so it was just Alex home, her and a few goblins. "Alex??" I called. No answer. Instead, a very scared Alex came running down the stairs, bumping into Argh. "Uh-oh.." He muttered quietly. Alex looked up and saw Argh looking at her in complete confusion of what to do. She backed up until she tripped over the stairs and landed on the bottom step. A goblin jumped on her head, making her scream. Argh grabbed the goblin and tossed it away from Alex. Jim was slaying goblins left and right while I calmed Alex down, she was having a panic attack. "Can you take a deep breath for me?" I asked. She took a shakey breath. She wiped the tears from her eyes and turned away. "Hey, no, look at me. You're okay, Alex. I'm right here. Just breath." I said to her. She opened her arms. "Non-verbal right now?" I asked as I hugged her. She nodded and clung to me a little tighter. Argh picked us up and backed away from a goblin. Jim killed the goblin and looked at us. "What happened to not being seen?" He asked Argh with a deadpanned expression. "Bumped into me, not my fault." He explained as he put Alex and I down. Alex got back on him, holding his fur close. He looked at her with a surprised expression before relaxing and gently patting her on the back.
