Tae was completely lost in his own thoughts after that unfinished phone call.
Among all of his hazy thoughts, he picked up a certain warmth that embraced his heart. It was almost certainly from those words that younger told him over the phone.
Furthermore, a specific event from yesterday kept replaying in his mind. Jungkook smearing color on his face.He was certain that it would not have affected the younger in any way, but it did.Even if it is only for a minute....

He went home after breakfast. When he arrived at the mansion, Jungkook was not there. It was Monday, and he would obviously be at work right now.
The silence was oddly creeping him out. So he took his car and drove to his best friend's cafe ..

At jimin's cafe

"Hello there, shorty," Tae said, waving to Jimin.

"Hey, you look strange today," Jimin remarked.

"Oh well," he smirked, "I know you can't stand my handsome face."

"That's not it, idiot,you look....you look happy today. I haven't seen you in a good mood in three months," the cafe owner said as he approached his best friend and handed him his favorite strawberry milkshake.

"I'm not sure, I'm just happy right now.
When it comes to happiness, how is your grumpy cat doing?." Tae gave him a sly grin.

"Hey, don't call him that, he's the sweetest guy I know," Jimin said as he closed his eyes and flashed an eye smile.

"Excuse me, traitor, but what about me?
I was in that position a month ago.
Now you just abandon me and hand it over to him? idiot ".Tae protested by folding his arms.

"Nobody can ever replace you, Kim taehyung.But with him, it's a different story.I feel like I could be that guy I wanted to be when I was a teenager. Poverty and loneliness struck me so hard that I shut myself away from all those colorful things. I've been working my tail off for years...
It's like living my life now.I'm not saying love is the ultimate thing, but it does make your life more beautiful.

"Oh...it is evident from your expression that you're bored to tears and have nothing better to do..so shut your annoying mouth and come with me.
