My Cold Blooded Boss

"Gallen, can you bring it to the table 3?," Siria said politely. Gallen fix his apron and nodded with a smile. He took the tray and went to the table number 3. "Here's your order maam," he said and gently put the woman's order on the table.

The woman smiled at him. "Thank you. You're cute," she smiled. The woman is like in her 30's but she still looks beautiful.

Gallen chuckled. "Thank you maam,"  he bid his goodbye afterwards and went back to the counter.

He is working as a waiter at this cafè and their boss is very kind and polite. She also give a good salary, and it's enough for Gallen to buy food and pay for his apartment every month. Though his mother also gave him some money. He just save it and use his moner instead.

Today's he'll be out at 6pm and someone will replace him. Right now, him, Siria and Flair are here. Siria is the in charge in the counter, Flair is in charge of serving the order and Gallen would bring it to the customers table.

The cafe is quite full today and a lot of people come to buy. Some are taking out and some chose to dine in. Suddenly Gallen's phone rang. "Wait a minute, I'll just answer this," he toled them.

"Hurry up okay?," Flair reminded him. Gallen just nod and went outside to answer the call.

"Hello ma?," He said once he answer the call. "Gallen, how are you,"

"I'm fine ma. Why did you call, did something happened?," He asked.

"Nope, all fine. How about you? How's your job?,"

"Good. Our boss pay us good,"

Hir mother sighed. "Why don't you just focus on your study and let me sustain you? It's not that i didn't did it before,"

Gallen smiled. "Ma, i know. But i don't want to burden you more," Her mother just smiled at the other line. Gallen wasn't her's. She saw him few blocks away from their house. She's walking home when he heard a child's cry. It's breaking her heart. So she find where the cry is coming from and it leads him to Gallen. At that time, she's struggling with sadness amd depression. She just lost her child while it's still on her womb and his husband divorced her.

But when she found Gallen, she's starting to realize that she need to live. She need to live for the baby. She promised to herself to take care of him and won't abandoned him.

When Gallen was already old enough to know, she told her the truth. She thought Gallen would be mad but no. He understand her and even thank her for taking care of him.

Now, Gallen is already graduated. He graduated a few months ago and planning to take his board exam. She's happy that Gallen grown up as a good person.

"Ma, ma are you okay?," Gallen asked worriedly. He kept calling her name but she didn't answer. "Ma!,"

"U-Uh yes?," Lea wiped her tears. Remembering her sacrifices before, it's all worth it. Gallen already graduated.

"Ma, are you crying?,"

"No, I'm not. Anyways i just called to ask you how are you doing and.. if it's okay if you could come here?,"

"Where?," Gallen asked. He saw Flair telling him to hurry up.

"Here at the house of my boss," Lea is working as a maid. And she's actually the head. "My boss wants to meet you and talk to you about few stuffs," She said.

Gallen signalled Flair to wait which Flair get immediately. "I'll think about it ma. For now, I'll hang up the call they already need my help," Gallen said apologetically.
