I was just about to sleep, when I heard a knock. Also, my mom and I have separate rooms now, which I'm very thankful for. "Come inside" I said a lazy voice, I was quite sleepy since it was like 12:30am already. And.... it's Ashi? "Oh? You're still awake?" I asked a bit confused. He sleeps at 11pm, and he's awake at this time? Odd. He asked if he can stay with me for the night. Which, I agreed obviously. But why did he want to stay here?
"Sorry to disturb you-" he said in a voice where it sounds like he's about to cry, so I cut him off. "You don't disturb me, I wasn't doing anything anyways." I reassured him and hugged him. I wonder what's bothering him, but I don't want to force him to open up. After a bit, I thought he wasn't going to speak yet, so I got ready to sleep already. Suddenly, he spoke. "My mom is forcing me to date this girl for their business, which I don't want to at all. I don't even like girls..." okay that kind of shocked me, "...and I currently like someone else. I can't believe I'm agreeing to this. But this is for my mom, and she said I could break up with her after 2 years, or if I ever get tired, I could break up with her after a year. Is that okay with you?" he suddenly asked me.
First of all, that was quite a lot to take in. Did he like me? No, I don't want to get my own hopes up too high. "I mean, yeah why wouldn't it be?" I asked him back. He just shrugged. We bid goodnight and slept.
