A DAY TO REMEMBER

MYRA'S POV

We soon reached the destination which was a surprise to me I was seating in the passenger seat while Sarah was seating at the back and Xavier was driving. I got out of the car excited to see where we are and when I did I was grinning ear to ear bouncing on my feet. "Oh my god! We are at an amusement park this is the best Xavier." I say laughing and hugging Xavier tightly. He laughed and ruffled my hair. We get inside and bought the tickets and were waiting for Xavier's friend at the entrance. I was talking to Sarah and Xavier was talking to his friend on phone "Where are you I can't see you?" he asked on the phone the person on the phone replied something and Xavier turned around. I too turned to see and saw a guy only 2-3 inches smaller then Xavier waving at him coming towards us. He is a bit muscular with dark brown hair and blue eyes. I turn to Sarah who has suddenly stopped talking and is now ogling Xavier's friend I smile and shake her out of her daze. "See something you like?" I ask teasing her. She looks at me blushing but denies "No not at all." I laugh a little shaking my head.

I turn back to Xavier and his friend and take Sarah with me to introduce ourselves. Xavier see's us approaching and wraps a hand around my shoulder smiling and introduces me "Nico this is my neighbour, friend and colleague Myra and Myra this my childhood friend Nicolas." I smile at Nicolas and shake hands with him. He smiles at me to nodding. "And Nico this is Sarah our friend and colleague." They both shake hands too they both are looking at each other continuously I giggle a little while looking at Xavier he smiles at me and coughs loudly getting their attention. They both look at us and gets shy. Xavier takes my hand and we both make our way inside laughing.

We all go on many different rides and had a lot of fun soon we all got hungry and went to a diner to have lunch. We all talked and laughed a lot while eating. I got to know that Nicolas is a famous surgeon and doesn't live far from us. He and Xavier have been friends since birth as their parents are friends too. Nicolas doesn't talk a lot but he is a nice guy. After having lunch me and Xavier part ways from Nicolas and Sarah. We went on some more rides and it was soon getting dark so me and Xavier decided to go on the Ferris wheel. We sat inside and soon we were at the top I looked out and saw the view the stars were coming out slowly. "Xavier see it's so beautiful." I said still looking out and heard "Yeah it is." I turned and saw Xavier looking at me. I tilted my head a little confused "Xavier look there" I pointed outside. He shaked his head smiling and looked out. Then suddenly the ferries wheel started moving again and I stumbled and my hands land on Xavier's chest and my face inches from his. We both look at each other wide eyed. We both kept looking at each other for some time and then the fireworks started getting us both out of our daze. I blushed and sat back on my seat looking at my palm resting on my lap. And saw Xavier running his hands through his hair with a small smile. Soon we reached down and joined Sarah and Nicolas.

We all went to our next destination. Xavier blindfolded me when we were about to reach. When we reached Xavier got me out of the car guiding me with his hand on my back. "Ok sweetheart now you can open your eyes." He said removing the blindfold. I looked ahead and was meet with a beautiful and dazzling view of Eiffel Tower. "Xavier this is so beautiful." I grinned at him. He smiled back softly. We all enjoyed the beauty of the place for some hours. And then went to a nearby restaurant to have dinner.

After having dinner with lot of chatting and laughter we head back outside. Sarah was really tired so Nicolas offered to take her home which she accepted gladly. Me and Xavier decided to a little walk not wanting such an amazing day so early. It was almost 10 pm and streets were less crowded making it peaceful. Suddenly it started raining Xavier tried to drag me to a shade but I refused laughing. "No Xavier let's dance." I said already wet and dancing in the rain laughing. "Sweetheart what are you doing? You will get sick." He said still trying to get me to the shade. "No Xavier its fine please let's just dance." I said dragging him to dance with me and soon he joined me.

We both were laughing and dancing both wet from head to toe. I didn't notice right away but Xavier have stopped dancing and was watching me with a smile. I turned to him and saw him and stopped dancing too. We both were looking at each other and then...

I sneezed. Xavier shaked his head laughing "I told you" he said and wrapped a hand around my shoulder and guided me to the car. We went home in silence with a smile thinking about the day we spent having so much fun.
