Hey my little demons,
I assume you have enjoyed the last chapter, considering I left it off at a cliffhanger... *smirks*
The back story of Sparrow will arrive soon, but there are no promises made there. Shall we carry on with where I left off so terribly? :D
Enjoy the chapter.

I had never been so sure of one thing in my life.
I was going to die tonight.
My chest heaved and I was certain that my teeth were clattering if I hadn't kept them clenched. The demon still hovered over me, his eyes piercing into mine. I gulped down the fear that crept up my throat while his eyes began to tangle my mind. There were thoughts that flooded into my head, that lured me towards death as the most righteous thing that ever existed. Thoughts that told me I should die. I belonged in death, to this demon.
''Tell you what,'' The demon leaned only slightly away to press his hand against the space on the wall above my left ear. His other hand cupped my chin and forced me to tear my gaze away from the pipes on the side of the pillars just a few meters away from him. There was nothing more that I wished for more than a weapon at this moment. I stared into his depth less, opaque, predatory eyes that could've consumed my innocence as he continued to speak,'' let's play a game.''
My sub-conscience panicked and my heart pounded against my rib cage with an aching throb. I could feel my esophagus begin to close with panic. Oh no. Please, by all the heavens-
''You will convince me that you want to live.'' He paused and brushed the tip of my nose with his finger, ''I want to you run, run back home, and leave. Never return. You will not think twice about your friends or mourning family. Neither will you take any of your possessions. Why? Because right now, you're considering everything as a weapon to fight me, and this shall prove that I will find you no matter how fast you run, or where you hide. I want you to have me consistently creeping in the back of your head.''
Holy...
I was about to speak up when he silenced me with his finger pressed to my lips. With his finger so close to my teeth, it was quite an effort not to bite him. But if I had, I was sure that I would not live to see dawn. The demon continued to speak, his voice gave off a terrifying vibe that made me want to curl up into a ball and whimper.
''When I find you, and I will. I want you to know, that you will die. So what will it be, little Sparrow? Would you rather die right here and now, or should it be later?'' The demon smirked when he pressed his body against mine, I snapped my head out of his grip and looked up at the ceiling again, wishing for a way to defend myself. He nuzzled his nose into my neck, before I knew it, he bit me. Hard.
I gasped in shock when I felt my blood draining out of my veins and into his mouth. He wasn't tender either with the way his lips scorched across my throat. The pain was excruciating when the experience of his canines grazed on my skin. He didn't have fangs, which made the pain even more agonizing. It took all my strength not to cry when the tears pricked in my eyes and I clenched my jaw with more force.
There that fire was again. The flame that had made my mind so clear, so rational. It scolded me and screeched for me to make use my body and get him off of me. The flame reminded me of how my arms weren't pinned, and a thought came to my mind of how to operate them.
