It's been a couple of weeks since the nightclub incident, nothing more has happened between me and James.
Not that it should happen, or there is any reason for it to happen, but I can't help the feelings I have been starting to feel for him.
The calmness I feel around him.
The way he knows what I'm thinking.
How he knows how to make me laugh and smile.
"Liv."
The way he stares so intently but with so much emotion.
"Olivia."
The look of lust in his eyes when were together just us.
"OLIVIA."
Just him, the way he makes me feel.
"OLIVIAAAAA."
What?
"Oh...sorry, what did you say?" I ask Megs who's sat opposite me in the booth at the coffee shop.
"I said did you want another latte?" she points to my empty mug, "I asked legit five times, you were in a daze," she finishes.
Yep.
That be me James daze.
"Sorry, mind elsewhere, yes thank you," I reply as she gets up from the table.
"Decaf vani-" I start as she walks away.
"Yeah, I know, decaf vanilla latte," she waves me off.
I look back to my laptop in front of me, right where was I.
My photos, of course.
Being able to use the edited photos of the boys for work and my uni project means I'm ultimately killing two birds with one stone.
It's great as I can spend more time on the photos themselves and make the most out of them.
I finish editing and grab the fresh coffee in front of me.
"So..." I go to start to Megs.
"Hey, it's you," I hear a voice beside me.
I turn my gaze and look up at the blonde-haired boy standing next to our table.
Joey.
"Oh hi, Joey right?" I reply.
"Yeah, it's..." he asks pointing towards me.
"Olivia," I finish for him.
"Right yeah Olivia, how are you? Long time no see," he asks.
"Good thank you, busy with work and all," I add.
He turns to look towards Megs, who's for once...giving a disapproving look.
"Joey," he states, holding his hand out to Megs.
Megs does her bitchy smile.
Oh lord here we go.
"Megs. Did you have something you wanted to say, or can we get back to our coffees?" she replies to him.
Why is she being so rude?
"Right, of course, sorry," Joey starts.
"No, no its fine Joey," I glare at Megs.
"I'll leave you girls to it, nice to meet you Megs, Olivia, hope to see you again," he replies smiling my way.
"And you Joey, bye," I reply, watching him leave the coffee shop.
