I'm finishing up transferring photos from my memory card to my laptop when I notice someone walking towards me from the end of the stand.

I look up and see Tommy smiling at me, hobbling my way.

"Hey stranger," he smiles.

"Hey," I reply, hopping up from my seat.

The boys are still finishing up practice and haven't noticed Tommy in the stands with me.

"How are you?" I ask.

"Sore but good, wish I was down there but can't complain, I got off lucky," he replies, pointing down to the boys.

"I'm glad you're okay Tommy, really, how's Elsie?".

"She's good, I don't lift a finger when she's around," he smirks.

I raise my eyebrow, "I'm sure it was like that before your accident."

Tommy laughs and gestures for me to sit back down, he perches on the seat next to me.

"So," he leans in, "you and coach hey."

I glance sideways at him, wide eyed.

"What?".

"Oh, come on Liv, everyone knows you and coach are getting on it with each other," he nudges my side.

"They do?" I ask.

His smirk grows wider "so it is true, knew it was."

"Wait wait, the boys actually think somethings going on between us?".

"Liv, we're not stupid," he replies.

I sigh and rub my eyes with my hand, "Oh god."

"Hey, don't stress, it's nice to see coach so relaxed and happy, he's usually all grumpy and tense."

I laugh "well, don't go ratting your mouth Tommy, it's still a secret, sort of."

"Fair enough but keep me in the gossip."

I roll my eyes just as a collection of hollers comes from the rink.

"Tommy!" the boys all shout.

We both stand and make our way down to the arena where the boys catch up with Tommy.

I'm walking back to the changing rooms with the boys, Tommy and James when my phone rings in my back pocket.

I slide to answer and bring it to my ear "Hey."

"Liv are you at the arena?" Megs sniffles.

I stop walking "What's wrong?".

I notice James and a few of the boys stop and look back at me.

"Are you at the arena still? I'm in an Uber on my way," she cries.

"Yeah, I'm still here, what's going on?" I reply.

"I had an argument with Mark and he, he-" I can hear her hiccupping through the sobs.

"Okay okay, I'll come meet you outside, how far away are you?" I ask.

"I'm just pulling into the car park."

"Okay I'm coming," I reply.

I hang up the phone and start running towards the exit.

"Olivia," James shouts, "what's wrong?".

"It's Megs!" I shout back.

I know something bad has happened.

I can feel it inside of me.
