New Student

...it looked like...he wanted to tell me something, but he couldn't.

One Week Later...

Usaida's pov

As I was sleeping, I was a little disappointed that I wasn't having a dream. Oh well, I just decided to roll with it since I was so comfortable, except for Midori laying right on my chest napping along with me.

A little after I heard tiny yells, something like," USHA! USHA!," what I assumed to be Taka. And, "Usada - chan! Somwone's here! Gewwup! Gewwup!," which I knew was Kirin.

I was about to get up until Taka pulled my ear, which was the last place I wanted him to pull on. And I woke up with a, "Owowowow, Taka! Don't do that I was sleeping really good!"

I noticed it was abnormally quiet after I said that, so I looked at the door where everyone was staring at.

To my surprise, I saw a tall, slim girl with her hair in a ponytail wearing a purple and black shirt with black jeans.

Then I remembered that there was gonna be a new student here so I said to her while getting up:

"Oh, hey you're the new student over here, right?," I asked while walking towards her.

"Yeah."

I stopped in my tracks as I heard her voice; it was a more lower voice for a girl - not that low though. "What?," she answered to my pause. I could tell she had a American accent so I said the first thing that came to my mind.

"A - are you American?," that'll work.

"Yeah, why?," she asked me, "I could just tell from your accent. Anyways, I'm Usaida Yoshihito. I'm the only daycare staff worker over here. And just so you know, there's two other club members but they're in class right now."

"K, Sofia Jones," she said while we shook hands,"I'm guessing Sofia is your first name?," I asked.

"Yeah, why, do you guys say your last name first or something?," she asked. "Yep, I don't know why, but we do. I'm cool with it though," I lazily answered.

"Uh - huh...," she answered me before walking slowly towards the kids.

"Are these the kids I'm gonna be babysitting?," she asked while the kids were frozen in fear/shock.

I laughed at their reactions and answered, "Yep, they don't usually act like this though. They're probably scared of you," I said before yawning.

"Hm...ok...," she said quietly before squatting down, "...Hi guys my name is Sofia, and I'll be your babysitter with Usaida."

Sofia's pov

They all just stared at me with wide eyes, and I just gave them my normal blank face in return.

"Oh wow, they're that scared of you," Usaida finished with a small laugh, and all I did was let out a slightly frustrated 'hm,'.

"Well everyone...," the kids all snapped out of their thoughts and turned to Usaida.

"Lets start the naming train." I had to keep a laugh in on how ridiculous that name was. And they all ran excitedly in front of him and sang: "Here comes the naming train choo, choo..."

After all the introductions and the kids got a little more comfortable with me, the kids were playing some kind of hero game called Ranger...Ranger something. And I was playing the evil queen for some reason...so that's great.

But eventually the bell rang and I said bye to everyone and headed to class.
