First off I'd like to praise your name,
Because you're the only one that deserves the fame.
But I have some things to get off my chest
And lay them down to rest.
This world is so broken,
But I know the words you have spoken,
So I will follow you
Even when it's hard to do.
Cause you took the pain you chose,
And saved us when from that grave you arose.
Lord everyone is screaming sheep
But you're the only shepherd we should seek.
This religion is a business
And for the people feeling worthless
You're the only one that can give them something new.
That hope we need to hold on to.
You know what's in my heart
Cause I don't know where to start,
God you saved my life.
Showed me this was something I couldn't fight.
When I look at this world I want to scream and cry,
But then I look at you and I want to jump for joy.
Because you gave me a life I couldn't find on my own,
And I wish I could call and thank you on the phone.
But a prayer with have to do,
God, I know you're coming soon
But until then,
In your name I pray amen.
