"You're still fond of doing that, you're still in love with the smell of roses, I think pink roses. I don't get it. Does the color of a rose has to do with its odor?" a man with a husky voice told you.
You looked at where the voice came from so you could confirm you were not just imagining things, and fortunately you were not. Seeing him again is nostalgic, he is the only guy who can make your heart beats at its loudest.
You ran to him letting the pink rose you were holding fell on the wood floor. Your eyes got warm as you placed your hands around his waist. He pulled you closer to him giving you a tight hug. "I know you missed me that much but, can I take a nap?..." , he moved some strands of your hair placing it at the back of your ears. You slowly moved your hands away from his waist, you have got a lot of stories to tell but he needs to rest.
"Promise me first, that..." you wanted him to promise you to never leave although that will just make things harder.
"That?"
"pray for me, always" you think that was better than asking him the impossible, at least he could remember you every time he prays besides he is not someone you own.
" Are you sick? " he asked you raising his right hand to place it on your forehead.
" no, just pray for me so I won't get sick"
"That was it? You should not make me that promise. You know, I always do it. I hope you do it for me too." Chanyeol pinched your both cheeks, he missed your smile.
"Pabo yah!" you smiled at him.
You watched his back as he took four steps upstairs to his room. "Oppa!", you called him sweetly like how other girls called their boyfriend. He looked at you and smiled back. "Saranghaeyo", he winked. You felt your cheeks getting hot. You know he always tell he loves you.
As soon as he saw his bed he threw his self on it and fell fast asleep.
You slowly opened the door to not wake him up. The door produced faint creaks as you enter his room. You sat on the floor beside his bed. He never snore like this before as loud like Snorlax, he was really tired. You stared at him for hours quietly and enjoying the Chanyeol on the bed with his messy hair.
An idea popped up your mind. You ran to your phone downstairs then slowly you walked back to him. You record his evolution from Chanyeol to Snorlax and Snorlax to Chanyeol. You bit your lower lip trying not to laugh, but your small laughter ends when you realize he will leave sooner. When he leave you have to wait again, to wait is difficult - it is not because you have to wait, it is because it is hard to not be a part of his everyday. You cannot be with him right before he needs a friend.
"It's hard to fall in love, but it is harder to fall in love with your best friend." you uttered. All you can ever do is to confess to him when he was not listening. Your feelings will ruin everything.
