I sat in a small studio apartment on a couch. Now I bet your wondering why the hell is she in a studio apartment sitting on a couch. Well, actually, after that little shoe incident, me and Cole came to his little apartment.

"So....." I said awkwardly rubbing my hands up and down my thighs.

"So....." Cole said pursing his lips and raising both eye brows. If you couldn't already tell, this was awkward.

"Look, its nothing against you but-" Cole cut me off.

"You don't want to get married." He stated.

"Yep. It has nothing to do with you," he gave me a look "OK its a little bit to do with you, but im 17, I have plans to travel, go to college, to live. And maybe when I'm ready settle down and create a family with someone I love. I will, but not someone my parents set my up with." I sighed. It did sound a little harsh but what else could I say 'hell ya I tottally wanna marry you' im not one to lie.....much.....

"You don't think I don't have plans? There are things, things that are part of my life, that I can't bring a family into." He said throwing his hands in the air.

That was understandable, he was the bad boy. It was rumored that he was in a gang, but you never know with rumors. Although the situation was probably close to this. You can't raise a family when your involved in a gang.

"Well, maybe we won't have to start a family for a while." I said a little to hopefully. Cole scoffed.

"If we are being forced to get married, I'm sure we will be forced to start a family soon." He said in a bitter tone.

After about five minutes of awkward silence I finally spoke up.

"Twenty questions? You first." I turned to Cole as he nodded.

"Favorite color."

"Ocean blue."

"Red."

"Um.....dream house?"

"Ocean."

"Me too!!!"

"Hobbies."

"Reading."

"No shopping? Huh. TV, I guess."

"Are you really in a gang."

"Yep."

"You admit that?" Cole nodded. "But how have you not gotten arrested."

"Its quite simple. It doesn't matter if the cops know where our hide out is. They can't arrest us if they haven't caught us doing anything illegal." Cole explains.

"But everyone knows gangs deal drugs." I a stated confused.

"Yes, but the cops have not caught us dealing them so they have no reason to arrest us. People can know about what we do, but a cop can't arrest someone on a rumor. Only if they have proof." He tried to explain again. Key word is tried.

"But why can't the cops just search your hide out or whatever to find the drugs." I asked.

"They don't have a warrent. And they need a good reason for them to have a warrent. We are careful not to get caught." He explained.

"Oh OK." I smiled. My phone rang and as soon as I saw the caller id my smile faded.

"Hi mom!" I squeaked.

"Cameron Delarosa, how dare you!" My mother yelled.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"Oh don't play innocent with my young lady! You broke the window, ran off, and humiliated yourself in front of your future in laws!" My mom fumed.
