Heart Skips a Beat

Chapter Three

I woke up and felt something moving.

I was in a car.

"Gising ka na pala" said a familiar voice.

Andrew was beside me driving. "Dadalhin sana kita sa hospita-"

"Why am I in here? and pls cut the act. May hospital-hospital ka pang nalalaman diyan, mamaya dadalhin mo pala ako sa isang abandoned building tas pagtripan. I would rather die." I rudely cut him off.

"Beverly, di ako ganyang tao." He said. I stared at him and saw hurt in his eyes. But I didn't care.

"How would I know? I just recently met you." I said back.

He sighed "Don't worry, I won't do anything bad to you. Are you okay? May nararamdaman ka ba? Baka naman may sakit ka kaya ka nag collapse. Dalhin na kita sa hospital."

"Wala akong sakit, I'm healthy. Stress lang ito." I explained to him. "Huwag mo na akong dalhin sa hospital, I'm perfectly fine. Sayang lang ang gasolina mo."

"No, I want to check if you're okay. Dadalhin kita sa hospital." He declared.

"Ikaw bahala." I murmured. There's no point on arguing with him. Masakit pa ang ulo ko. "But you know, this is partly all your fault. Di sana ako mahihimatay pag di mo ako pinag tripan. I was having a bad day and suddenly you showing up and pranking me didn't help at all."

He didn't say a word, he just stared straight ahead. Wow, manhid? Di man lang mag sorry. Kaloka, what a jerk.

"Nandito na tayo." He said as he hurriedly got out of the car and went to my side of the door and opened it.

'Weird' I thought to myself. I arched my brow and stared squarely at him. His head wasn't facing me, he was looking at a different direction. As I stare at him more, his face turns redder. He's blushing! And wait, why is he acting so kind right now? Ang layo ang ugali niya ngayon sa unang pag kikita namin.

"Alam kong gwapo ako pero huwag mo naman akong titigan ng ganyan. Natutunaw na nga ako sa sobrang hot ko tas tititigan mo pa ako." He said while smirking.

Wow lang ya talaga ang kapal ng mukha. I take back everything I said awhile ago, walang nag bago sa kaniya!

"Bababa ka ba o kailangan pa kitang buhatin? Nangangawit na ako dito oh"

"Di ko naman sinabing pagbuksan mo ako eh." I said as I rolled my eyes and went out of the car and shoved Andrew. Siya may gustong gawin yan tas nagrereklamo? Gulo niya, one minute he's an angel another a demon. Bipolar much?

"Bilisan na natin at para matapos na ito. I want to go home and have you out of my sight." I said as I went inside the hospital. May narinig akong footsteps sa likod ko, that's probably Andrew.

I asked the nurse for assistance but she wasn't listening to me. She was staring at the guy beside me and blushing like a lunatic. And that guy is no other than Andrew.

"Miss."

Still nothing.

"Nurse."

No response.

"Hey"

What is the problem with this girl! Ayaw niya akong pansinin. This is a hospital for crying out loud, hindi isang lugar para sa mga babaeng malalandi.

I glared at Andrew and demanding him to do something. He must have got the message as he opened his mouth.

"Miss." He said and the nurse immediately responded.

"What can I help you with sir?" She asked with her sweet voice. Eew landi. But what irritated and shocked me the most is what Andrew said and do next.
