The girl with blond hair and blue eyes walked towards the giraffe's cage, she didn't know why she was still heading there, she'd been told to find it when her school group had entered the zoo, but that felt like a long time ago, she felt alone. She was sweating because the burning sun was beating down on her. She had been walking for an hour, looking for giraffes because she had an appointment at their cage. At one point, she saw another girl walking towards her. This girl had brown hair and eyes that matched, they were probably the same height.
They started talking: "Do you have an appointment right here?" Asked the blonde girl.
"Yes, I have been walking for more than an hour to get to cage 29.What's your name?"
"My name is Jessica. What's yours? Do you have any idea of how we got in here?"
The brunette didn't answer and stared at her feet.
"I actually can't remember. About my name, I don't care, as long as you don't call me...umm....."
"Tell me! Please!"
"People used to call me Burpette instead of brunette." She answered shyly.
"Haha! You burp! You're a burpette! Haha burpette!"
"STOP! It's not nice to treat people badly"
Jessica kept on laughing. She couldn't stop. The brunette explained she had a problem inside her stomach and it made her burp very often. Then, no one spoke. They were both quiet until Burpette had an idea: "We ought to have an assembly with everyone in this zoo."
"Yes but how? We need to find a way to call everyone." Answered Jessica.
Burpette thought about it and said: "My cousin has been working here for two years and I used to come in the zoo."
The girl continued: " She told me that inside each cage, there is an emergency bell. We just need to reach it because it's not easy."
Jessica answered: "Half an hour ago, I saw a chair. We could stand on it to be able to reach the bell."
The girls ran to grab the chair and rang the bell. They were hoping not to be the only girls in the zoo.
