The Awakening Lab (Part 1)

My idol, All Might thinks he should give me his quirk. Cleaning the beach will supposedly help, but will I really get his quirk. I have to do my best to become a hero, but can someone really give me a quirk?

I pondered as to my current circumstances. I met All Might a few days ago, and he said I would inherit his quirk. I'm not sure if one can give others a quirk, but if anyone can, it's All Might. Once I get his quirk will I really be able to become a hero?
I walked home from the beach after a few hours of training with All Might. Even if I was trying to get stronger, I am still just a teen. I still have to get home for dinner, or else my mom will get worried.
As I walked home from the beach, something caught my eye. On a light post, there was a poster for something called The Awakening Lab. It said that apparently, if you're quirkless, you might just be a late bloomer, and that they can help awaken your latent quirk. I read the address and realized it was fairly close to the beach, so I could go after I'm done with my strength training. I took the poster off of the light post, and continued my walk home.

At Home

I finally got home and went to clean myself up. After my shower I went downstairs to sit down for dinner.

"How was your day Izuku?" My mother asked. I've always looked up to her, even if she wasn't that strong, she still raised me and supported me.

"It was good. I found a poster that said if you're quirkless, you may be a late bloomer and they can help awaken it." I decided that I wanted to go. I know that I'm definitely quirkless, and that I'm probably not a late bloomer.

"Oh... are you going to go? You know... you don't need to have a quirk to be a hero. You can still achieve your dreams if you try." She knew that I was definitely quirkless. The doctor had said I did have the toe joint after all.

"I know I'm definitely quirkless... and that they're not gonna awaken my quirk... but it's still worth checking out!"

I finally ate my dinner which had become a bit cold. I cleaned the table and washed the dishes, then went to bed to go to sleep.
I had a pretty big day planned tomorrow. I had to do my training in the evening, and go to the lab after.

I wonder how All Might is going to feel about it.

I finally fell asleep, as I thought about the coming day.

The Next Day, at the beach

I did my new usual routine of pulling heavy pieces of trash, pulling heavy pieces of trash with All Might sometimes, and pulling heavy pieces of trashed with All Might on it. All Might was a very busy man, so he didn't usually come, but I had known beforehand he would be here today. I decided to tell him about the lab as I finished my daily goal.

"Hey... All Might, I'm going to a lab that supposedly awakens quirks. I may or may not awaken a quirk if I go there. If I do... do you think you might need a new successor?" I asked my idol as I finally finished my routine.
The hulking giant of a man deflated into a boney man, with spiky blond hair.
"*Cough* Young Midoriya, you may go to this center if you please. You must know, if you do awaken a quirk, you will still be my successor. Quirk or not, you have shown what is necessary to be a top hero. That instinct to help and save before you even think is the essence of a top hero. You may do as you please." He said as he transformed into his stronger form for a split second, before reverted back for going past his limit.

I thought about his words as I pulled out the poster. I started walking towards the said address after my training.
