Eggplant.

Ok, so this doesn't make any sense to me because they don't come from eggs.

They are purple, grow from the ground, and don't have anything to do with eggs! What!

Maybe eggs used to be purple and that's why someone named it eggplant but then over time eggs turned white and they couldn't change the name.

I don't like eggplants anyway so let's just end this convo right here😁
