A DAY had passed since your lunch break with Hange and Levi. Although you did a pretty good job at keeping the memories of your time with them at bay, it was hard not to think about the shy look on Levi's face while teaching.
It was probably a once-in-a-lifetime look, so you felt you had to remember every detail of it.
Plus, after that historical lunch break, you hadn't talked with Levi much then. You thought you'd give him some space, let him gather his energy before he goes through another encounter with you. And even if you did want to talk to Levi, you were too busy grading the rest of your tests, making sure that all the points lined up.
As for Levi, well, he's a janitor. He was always busy doing something.
But even Levi's new expression wasn't the biggest thing on your mind.
It was the new piece of information he had given: that he was capable of romantic love.
Damn, I'm making him sound emotionless.
You never entertained the idea of trying to pursue Levi, as you were firm in your belief that he just didn't seem the type to hold a romantic attraction. He never gave anyone a chance, not even Benedict, so why risk the heartache?
And besides, you just couldn't simply imagine Levi liking you. Your level of confidence isn't that low, but the idea of him returning your feelings is something you could only experience in a dream.
Still, you weren't the type to give up so easily. The redness spotted across the janitor's cheeks was something you'd never mistake for as anything else. And the fact that he said he doesn't mind relationships? And his response to being possibly interested in someone during college years?
I'll never forgive myself if I don't do something now.
As you begin to wrap things up in your classroom, for the school day has ended and you were able to finish your work early, a decision stays firm in your head.
You are going to challenge the universe and win Levi's heart.
You're not sure how you're going to do it, but you cannot let this opportunity pass you by. If there's even the slightest of a chance where you and Levi get together, you are willing to take it. Even if this may be one of your dumbest decisions, well...hopefully you won't remember it fifty years later.
You go through your schedule for the next week, since today is Friday, and try to come up with a plan on how to get through the cold-hearted janitor.
Having known him for fifteen years, you try to compile all the information you have gathered around him.
First and foremost, Levi dislikes disrespect and arrogance. He finds it unattractive whenever someone just simply displays a lack of respect, not cleaning up after themselves, not saying "thank you" when receiving food, etc.
He also finds it incredibly unattractive if someone were to brag about their strengths while putting other people down, immediately crossing them off his list. No second thoughts about it.
What Levi does find attractive, or at least a nice quality, is if someone takes responsibility when necessary. To him, it's a sign of maturity, and he likes that. He also appreciates it when someone doesn't slack off on their work, and is consistent.
You could go on and on about these things, but it would take too long, so you just decide to draft up a plan for now and edit it later.
Since Levi pretty much works his ass off everyday of his life, asking him to go out for something seems a bit too much, and too early. You're sure that Levi would like his solitude after a long day of work, though if you get closer to him, that might change...
