Falling into Despair (2)

Some stuff about the regression:

✣Cale is the only one regressing if you exclude the ancient powers that are part of him.

✣Cale regresses to three time: after he met Lee Soo Hyuk in a dream; when he transmigrated as Cale; and a random one where he transmigrate as child Cale right after his mother's death.

✣After Cale absorbed his ancient power, he dedicated himself to getting stronger in other aspects. He suffered when learning assassination from the Molan duo, enjoyed learning magic from Eruhaben with Raon--his precious child--, and gave up on swordsmanship experiencing how much energy he had to exhaust.

✣Cale stops overly relying on his ancient power every time he gets into a desperate situation so he tries finding other ways using other skills. In exchange, Cale starts using his ancient powers more for trivial purposes--moving, grabbing an item, etc-- to show that their uses are not limited to helping and protecting people.

Guilty Cale:

▵Cale, unable to lessen the guilt is his head for destroying the world, decides to put top priority in saving the world and helping other people. People take advantage of him to do their bidding but Cale ignores it because he was drowning in his own guilt.

▵Cale participate in the war; more often than not, he's pushed to fight in the front lines due to his powers. Cale got imprisoned again by his own family. 

▵Cale fighting his guilt accidentally stumbles across a revelation, 'Why does he have to save the world?' After all, the world has world has never been fair to him nor did the beings in the world other than his family did anything notable for him. They're literally trying to take advantage him right now. With that, he gets stuck in an existential crisis and his slacker dream doesn't look as far away anymore. 

▵An idea starts forming in his mind: What if he uses others to save his family like how they're using him to save themselves. He would be able to save his family and himself without having to sacrifice himself. And also save the world if he truly needs to. He also wont have to worry about being in a bird cage made by his own family.

▵True to that idea, Cale did manage to save his loved ones and not die And also not get caged up with expense of deaths of other people and also being hated by most of his family and most insignificant beings.

I'm going to expand on this idea until I lose interest.
