Cale's determined to learn swordsmanship;he swore to the gods he doesn't believe in that he will.
The first person Cale thought of was the person always beside him and supporting him in his new life, Choi Han; his guardian knight that he trusted will never betray him. However, if there is one thing he can't trust him with, it's being his instructor as well as acting so two things.
The nightmarish training regimen created by Choi Han for the Wolf cubs faded away his determination. He felt that those sla-poor souls were being threatened by Choi Hans' viciousness. He decided he might ask later.
The redhead who finally got the slacker life he wished albeit temporarily. (but he plans to make it permanent after dealing with Arm) He simply wanted to stare at a ceiling all day doing nothing. The children were already a disruption to his plan but he doesn't want to ruin it completely by following that hellish training.
From his observations, they have to wake up at 4 in the morning having to get ready by the next half an hour. Cale wondered how they got the determination; he usually always wakes up late and then taking up to two hours to simply get ready with the vicious butler bringing him the cursed lemon tea that snaps him awake.
He then inconspicuously observed as they stuffed their mouths with as much food as possible until 6 when their training started, not even savoring Beacrox's cooking. In Cale's eyes, they looked like pigs Choi Han were planning to fatten up in order to put them into the slaughterhouse; the slaughterhouse being the training.
Scrutinizing the training, he realized why those sla-students were desperately filling their stomachs as much as they could. They had to run through the Forest of Darkness from one end to another which he unnervingly recalls to be infested with monsters. When they got back, their body was bathing in their own sweat and aching that even an idiot will notice;all while Choi Han looked like he just took a morning walk. Despite all this, he can't understand why those sla-students' eyes burned brighter with determination and especially how they suddenly regained their energy; they even seemed satisfied.
The wolf tribe's savior, now blatantly observing them, wondered if they had masochistic tendencies or if they were intimidated by that protagonistic swordmaster. Either way, it wasn't Cale's place to judge.
In the end, Cale, predictably, didn't learn swordsmanship.

Is the rewrite better?
Don't expect any dialogue; it's my antisocial self's biggest weak point when it comes to writing.
Hope you have a good day

Short StoryThis is just a collection of fanfic ideas I've been having in my mind but I suck at writing and I also don't enjoy it. This is so I can get ideas off my head and not keep thinking about the 'what if's'. I will also write oneshots occasionally. The c...
