Faith awakens in a bed alone. She sat up looking around in a panic as her heart beating quickly from her chest. She looks around the unknown room before running towards the door and unlocking it bolting out.She immediately crashes to someone causing for her to pull away quickly and see Katherine. She immediately hugs the vampire who returned the hug as well.
"Hey hey, it's okay." Katherine assures her best friend as she held her tightly. They soon pulled away as Katherine drags her to the couch and told her to sit. She walked to the kitchen and began making a meal as best as she could. She never really cooks and doesn't really know how to, but with Faith's help back then. She's okay with it.
Katherine comes back with a plate placing it in front of her. Faith looks at the burnt bacon and charcoal egg before looking at Katherine.
"I know." Katherine grumbles defeated as Faith smiles shaking her head. She stands up grabbing the vampire's hand dragging her back to the kitchen.
"This is how you cook them." She says as she takes the left over bacon from the counter. She places a new pan on the stove and turns the knob on. She pours a little bit of cooking oil and let it it there for a moment as she swirls the pan around for it to be spread around. She soon cracks the egg and opens it gently as it falls on the pan.
Katherine watches her cook and she smiles happily. She wishes to cook herself and back then when she was still human, she would ask one of the maids in the kitchen to teach her. She was good at cooking after many practices, but ever since she became what she is, she lost her touch because she never really need to cook anymore for anyone not for herself as well.
"There you go." Faith says placing the bacons on the table as Katherine shook her head.
"Wow." Katherine mutters as she regret not watching and learning again.
"Go eat. I'll clean." Katherine smiles and Faith nodded as she grabs a spoon and fork and began eating as Katherine washes the dishes. After that night, the girls went to sleep, but Katherine kept an eye out in case Niklaus came.
The next morning rises, no sign of him. Faith still felt useless as she just stood in front of the doorway. She looks at her hand and presses it against the doorway. She could feel it weakening against her touch knowing she and Katherine could be free again. Katherine watches her from the couch knowing full well Faith is trying to find a way to leave the apartment.
Katherine can't since she after has been compelled to stay inside and not leave. After a couple of hours, no sign of the possessed teacher. Katherine didn't mind, but Faith did. She didn't know as to why she feels worried for him. Maybe it's the teacher she is worried for? The teacher probably doesn't even remember her.
The next day, everything was silent in the apartment. Katherine reads a history book bored out of her mind. Faith walks towards the door and opens it. She held her hand out as it finally goes through.
"We can go Katherine!" Faith smiles happily as Katherine looks at her.
"You go on ahead."
"But Kat."
"I've been compelled to stay here. I can't leave." She tells her as she reads the history book again."I'll be fine. Go to your brothers." She tells her and Faith looks at the vampire doppelgänger before nodding and leaving the apartment shutting the door.
She ran outside the building as she felt the sun hit her skin. She smiles as she run down the street happily as she enters the Grills. She saw the back of Damon and immediately ran and hugged him. Damon stiffens as he turns and his eyes widen.
"Faith!" He hugs her as she held onto him.
"Your okay." He sighs with relief as they pulled away.
