(A/n POV)
The next stop was zara, a frozen city, it's mostly destroyed and abandoned but some part of the town is occupied with monks. In a hope to get any way, to find the box with no lead we are heading their, according to Jungkook, it's the least danglers among the last three.
Hoseok was cooking them food while y/n was feeding the horses and Jungkook was cutting woods to get warmth from this killing cold, but there was something Hoseok was noticing throughout,,_
Jungkook kept glancing at y/n from time to time, while Hobi shrugged it off without thinking much about it. Then setting the tent, jungkook and y/n sometimes clash with each other, glancing once y/n always smiles as jungkook nods and steps aside.
Weird.
The tension was very well noticed by the 3rd and 4th person.
While cooking, y/n was doing the most while jungkook was there to keep the fire on, which was totally unnecessary.
Taking a sip on the wine Hoseok finally spoke "you see that,,? It's called young love, the beginning of human misery, but they enjoy it.
But the one here is too stubborn to confess or even understand what he was feeling and on the other hand she's oblivious.
......hmm we need to do something about it, I can't see the tension for ever,,with some i want an action, wanna help me? (Raya yawn and sat her head down) let's do it tomorrow then"- hoseok added looking at Raya breathing out loud which indicates she agreed.
"Hoseokieeeee food is ready"- y/n called out loud,
"why are you calling him that, and he can come and look at it tho.."- jungkook said glaring at him, the one who was sitting beside Raya
"it will become cold if I don't call him"y/n replied as hoseok approaches them "why are you there? it's cold out there"- y/n said giving a bowl to him "no, Raya is very warm, mind if I set tent near her?"- hoseok said as y/n shook her head no.
Y/n and Jungkook were in the same tent because both the heaters were inside. so it will be much warmer.
There was silence in the room until y/n broke it "umm do you have any idea how we are going to find out about the secret temple in zara?"- y/n asked starting a conversation, "no. Asking the monk won't give any help , we have to find this out on our own.
Your earth friend won't be any help, if you think about it because Zara is cover with 16 feet high ice sheets, no way his chopstick hand can reach that deep"-Jungkook said making y/n laugh,, "why don't you like him, he's a nice, funny, joy full and almost a brave guy"- y/n replied, "and also you forgot the fact,,a thief. That idiot stole my dagger for god sake, it's more than a reason to hate him"-Jungkook said frowning "hmm what about the dagger, by the way , you look very possessive about it"- y/n asked
Jungkook had it under his pillow,, taking it out he continued"it was my hero's. Not my father if you're imagining, the person I learn everything from. He was my father's right hand man, a warrior who's never been defeated. He taught me everything, from holding a sword to holding a fishing rod. He was my father of nature if I say".
"Is he in the castle? Did I meet him?"-y/n asked as he shook his head "he gave his life for me. My father saw the bond and the closeness and trust between us. The king thought he would use me as a weapon to kill him. (Jungkook laughed clearly expressing sadness) so he executed him and his family in front of my eyes. Never thought that.... that man he killed saved his life 1000 times, taking arrows just only for him him. Yet he was so afraid of death that everyone around him was evil and greedy for what he had. But he's the most empty person on the earth.
This dagger was the last gift from my hero, a dagger which never betray" Jungkook said as y/n can feel the sadness in his voice remembering the past. "It's a beautiful one, just don't let hoseok steal it again"- y/n added, "oh he'll be dead in a second if he try too"- It was silent for a moment but y/n spoke again hammering the wall of silence.
"you know what,,you talked 4 times more today than the amount u did in the whole trip, even we can squeeze the castle part in it... to you know"- y/n said making jungkook's eyes widen as he put the dagger under his pillow again. "good night"-jungkook said closing his eyes, "good night prince Jeon"- y/n replied with a smile and shut her eyes.
In Kashfire
Irean was having the worst breakdown of her life as she turned herself to a demon and couldn't come out of it.
She was fighting with her top soldiers, even the warrior she captured in the fight. She fought with 4 to 6 people at one time and killed them slowly but the weapon she used disgusted her more..... she used her teeth to rip of the neck flesh...
Z tao was well aware of his sister's situation as she never loosed any war or her planing never went waste but this is twice......the 2nd freaking time, she lost to kill them. Her mental stability was wrecked by the time she came back to kashfire. And that's the biggest thing is, it's exactly the plan of Z Taos. "Master,, queen is sending Marco to kill the dragon princess"- his servant said, "hmm seems like irean can't handle the defeat, so seems like I have to go, just in case,, what you say? (smirks) it's been long I have seen her.
Coming to meet you love"- tao said.
Near zara
"Why is Hoseok riding Raya so much? In high altitude he might get air freeze"- y/n said looking at the sky, "it's good if he stays their, his voice makes my ear bleed"-jungkook said rolling his eyes "don't be so mean, one day he will be your fight partner I know"-y/n said as suddenly an eagle came and landed on jungkook's hand, there was a note im its paw
He gave the eagle a little pet before opening the paper and reading it.
His facial expressions changed immediately as he opened the paper and so of y/n since its... "what is it?"- y/n asked softly
"my father.. he (sigh) died"- he said as y/n's eyes widen, "I'm sorry for this" she added "don't be,, I actually feel relief. There is no one on earth to feel lost or hurt after his death. Only,, but sadly mother, she loved him blindly even after all the misbehave and unfairness he showed towards her" jungkook said looking at y/n "king must be sad"- y/n said making Jungkook chuckle "hyung hates him the most"
