Just as I thought, right when I entered, my step mother told me she wants me to stay far away from them. She doesn't want to introduce an ugly person like me to the royal people that, will make their day a nightmare. Honestly I felt happy staying away from them. I always felt like a third wheel when I'm with them, an unwanted one who's just their to eat up space. I looked at them as my father introduced Molly to others as his daughter, he didn't even care to look for me. I sigh deeply,
maybe I should leave them.
I roamed around the castle as I came here with my father when I was young. I used to play with the princess when I was young, she died of pneumonia in a bad winter when we were just 12.
The king and queen were davistate from there loss,
when i was looking at the picture of my old friend on the wall framed beautifully just then a voice suddenly cought my attention
"we can't make a choose like that! it's a suicide mission for them, hector, how can you even say that"- the queen reported, massaging the bridge of her nose."what choice do we have here? The Alynthi king made it clear that only a trusted men or women,, not from the army can come to there city with any peace offering or any request. So I'm giving them a choice to whom they wanna send there"-the king replied! "but you know the night creatures are powerful now and what makes you think that they will agree to go there in the forest with a beast knowing they can get killed any moment?"- queen exclaimed, "that's why I selected powerful council members and citizen of the town to choose from and you know we don't have any choice beside this! our city is on verge of collapsing and this is the only way"- king said without thinking meanwhile I entered the room "I'll go"
"Y/n?"- queen and king both said with wide eyes as I enter the room and bow "I apologise for interference king and queen but if you want someone to carry any notice I'll be honor to deliver it"-i said, "let me". queen said stopping the king. "You grew up beautiful y/n, come with me"- queen said as I nodded following her.
I followed the queen and I know very well were she's taking me. She told the guards to open the gates, once I came here everyday
"it didn't changed a bit" "this is all we have to live with, it took us long time to understand that her memories is enough for us till we die and her memories are in here, those things she loves the most"- she said and went to the cabinet where her things are kept "But her most favourite is here that she loves the most (she pointed at me) tell me then, how am I going to face her when she get to know that I send her best friend to death row,
I admire your courage but I can't do that to you"- queen said tearing up
"I know you adore me and trying to protect the memory you have left by keeping them safe. But what will happen if that city, the house, the room she had all those memories in disappeared? This is my chance queen to serve the nation, does not Lisa also want that? Serve the nation? Let me please, I promise I won't disappoint you"-i said holding her hand as she sighed.
"This is the one thing she wanted to give you. She told me you love animals and you should keep it, maybe I was selfish enough to not let it go"- she said and took out a big rock like thing maybe not exactly that,, so i asked her "what is this?"- looking at it "it's a dragon egg, last of its kind they say. It's been 60 years we have been keeping this! a monk gave my grandfather, he told him 'the right person will relieve the dragon inside as the dragon will accompany him or her to the last chance of humankind to bring back peace' but hear it is. Now it's yours". queen said handing the egg to me, I was amazed looking at it. "Beautiful" is the only thing I can say "mythical creatures like them have powers of its own, the owner suppose to be very powerful to control it" queen said as the word hit me....its mythical!
I put the egg down on the couch "maybe I can .."-i said and concentrated "what are you doing? (The wind near me started to rotate blossoms appeared, the guards also came inside) stop, let her do what she's doing, I trust her"- queen said as the room turned brighter and brighter from the light that came out of it..... then everything stopped. The space seems so silent...like its a real time travel....the dark matters..uncountable planets and galaxies were floating in front of me.....
Just a blink of seconds everything and everyone turned silent when a sound of breaking caught everyone's attention.
The egg slowly cracks, like it was the only matter to connect space and time....its magical
Everything was coming to its normal space as it started to come out of it,
and a small dragon uncurl itself. It made a cute noise when it looked at queen and the soldiers then it turned to me "beautiful"- I said it as immediately she jumped on me rubbing the body on me. Queen was amazed looking at what just happened in front of her.

The king and queen entered the grand hall of the kingdom "I gather you all for a announcement and request, the request was to go to Alynthi with a notice to king taehyung (molly was about to raise her hand as she heard the most handsome king's name, she wanted to meet him but her step mom stopped her) but the request is no longer needed (everyone whispered) a brave girl has already took the responsibility to go there and I have no doubt about her capability as she's the chosen legend to fulfill the last chance journey of humankind to peace. I'm houner to call miss moon y/n the holder of the last dragon"- the king announced as I walked through the door, with the dragon on my shoulder.
Everyone was shocked to see me and the dragon, especially stepmom, molly, I can't understand dad.
Alynthi pov
"Your ready?"- taehyung ask, "hyung, everything is ready, I won't disappoint you". jungkook said looking at him, as taehyung held his shoulder "I want my brother to return safe and that's it" taehyung said as jungkook smile and nodded. He bowed and rode the horse with 6 soldiers with him. Giving one last look he rode out of the palace and out of the city to the darkest forests.
