Today is the first baseball game of the year. Harry and Ron made the team, a short while after school started. I really don't know anything about baseball but Hermione, Ginny and I want to support the boys. They even convinced us to go to the party afterwards. I don't know if that's a good idea. I don't really like parties and this one will be my fist. At least it's one the school knows about, so we can't get in trouble.
I keep forgetting the other school's name but Ron repeatedly talks about how they are totally going to win. Harry doesn't say it but I know he is thinking the same.
"Who is the best one on the team" I ask Ron, even though I already know his answer. He will say himself, although there is far more experienced players on our team.
"It's me. Definitely" Ron says "but Harry is right after me, great player, really, just not good as I am."
Harry laughs. "You shut up at least I'm not as bad as Malfoy"
"Draco is in the team?" I ask trying to let it sound like a normal question.
"Yeah he is. Blimey, it's annoying" after a second Ron continues "what is it with you always calling him Draco?"
"I don't know why I said that. It's just weird calling people by their last name sometimes" I feel my face burning so I look down at my hands. I haven't told Ron anything about what happened with Draco and I know Harry and Hermione didn't either.
"Ron, look at the time, we have to go" Harry says to change the subject. He gathers his things and kisses me on the top of my head. "Don't be late Vio" he reminds me once again and I chuckle.
"I won't. Promise"
Ron hesitates before turning around. After a few steps he stops and turns towards me again. "Hermione will come, right?"
"Yes she will, don't worry"
Relief washes over his face and he smiles awkwardly.
"Ron, we need to go now" Harry remarks and pulls Ron with him.

I am wearing a jersey with Harry's number on it. Ginny refused to wear it because it is too "cheesy" so she is wearing a self made jersey with no number on it. Ron left one of his jerseys in our room, for Hermione to wear but she simply ignored it.
The weather conditions are good for the game, according to Ginny. She knows a lot about baseball and she'd love to play it but there is no girls team in our school yet.
We are all sitting next to the field. I am surprise by the amount of people who came to watch. There's loads of people from the opponents school as well. All the players are on the field, warming up. I sometimes catch a glimpse of Harry and Ron but it's too crowed to constantly watch them.
After a while I find myself looking for platinum blonde hair. I am angry at myself because he has such a big impact on me, that my consciousness is always looking for his presence.
When I spot him, I am surprised by how good he looks in his uniform. It fits him just right. His cheeks are a bit reddened and not as pale as they usually are. His hair is messy, and I need to stop this. It would be embarrassing if anyone caught me staring at him. I quickly look if Ginny or Hermione saw it but they are deeply engaged in a conversation. I want to ask what they are talking about but before I get to do it, the game starts.
