I arrived at the school to immediately get inundated with the number of flashes coming my way. I tried my best to block my face, but they were everywhere.

"Valarie, how do you feel being accused of the murder of Casey Becker?"

"Ms. Michaels, how did you tie up Casey Becker's body?"

I had no clue why they were asking this when police had already cleared me. I would have never been able to lift Casey's body to hang it, and my story lined up with the statement from her parents. "Let her be! Why are you accusing her when she was already cleared by police?" A male voice said coming behind me and covering my face. I peeked up to see the one and only Billy Loomis. He grabbed my hand and guided me through the crowd as I continued to block my face.

The news was already getting around, and I had people eye me where ever I went. We reached the inside of the school and he turned back around to look at me. "Are you okay?" I nodded and wiped my face. "Yeah, just I can't believe that people actually think it's me!" He pressed his lips into a thin line and began walking me to my locker.

"Well, you do have a decent-sized bruise around your neck to prove you're innocent..." I nodded.

Throughout the day, choking jokes were made towards me. I tried to pay attention to the safety guidelines our teachers were telling us but could help but watch as a few guys laughed and choked themselves out in a funny manner, adding in little moans.

At lunch, I met up at the fountain with Billy, Sid, Stu, Tatum, and Randy to chat, like we normally did.

"Why would they ask you if you'd like to hunt?" Tatum questioned, throwing a grape in her mouth. "Because their bodies were gutted," Randy responded. "Thank you, Randy," Billy spoke in an annoyed tone. "They didn't ask me if I liked to hunt?" Tatum sat dumbfounded. "It's because there is no way a girl could've killed her," Stu answered. "That is so sexist, the killer could easily be female, Basic Instinct!"

"Well from the bruises on my neck, and the fact that she was lifted to be hung, it would have had to be a male, cause no female could do that," I confirmed taking a sip of water.

Randy said, "Yeah, and in Basic Instinct, that was an ice pick, not exactly the same thing."

"Yeah, Casey and Steve were completely hollowed out, the fact is it takes a man to do something like that." Tatum butted in with a brazen manner, "Or a man's mentality."

Sidney finally spoke up from her position between Billy's legs. "How do you gut someone?" Her voice seemed to waver, and the group faced her, surprised she even spoke up. I shivered just thinking of the thought. "You take a knife," Stu started with a small smile, "and you slit them from the groin to the sternum." I let out an audible huff and rubbed my eyes as tears started to build up. "Hey, it's called tact, you fuck rag," Billy spoke nonchalantly.

"Hey Stu, didn't you used to date Casey?" Sidney was not happy. "Yeah for like 2 seconds," Randy butted in, sticking his face really close to Stu's, "Before she left you for Steve!"

"I thought you dumped her for me?" Tatum questioned turning to her boyfriend. "I did, he's full of shit!"

"Are the police aware you dated the victim?" Stu scrunched his nose. "What are you saying? That I killed her?" Randy never confirmed nor denied, just said, "Well it would certainly improve your high school queue."

"Stu was with me last night. Okay?" The blonde spoke pressing into Stu's chest. "Yeah, I was!" the other boy furrowed his eyebrows. "Was that before, or after he sliced and diced?" Sidney was obviously uncomfortable and so was I. How could they sit here and joke about a classmate dying, next to the victim of the same crime!? "Where were you last night?"

They continued to bicker, and I distracted myself by rubbing the sore spots on my neck, in the hope to relieve some pain.

"Did you really put her liver in the mailbox? Because I heard they found her liver in the mailbox next to her spleen and her pancreas."

I felt bile rise in my throat and I quickly took off to the bathrooms leaving the others behind. "Liver alone!" I heard Stu mock.

I pushed the door open and ducked into the first stall open. I held my hair up as quickly as I could before the lunch I had just eaten came out. Once I felt better, I stood up and washed my face in the sink. I took a deep breath and walked out.

That night I lay in my bed staring at the roof. I felt like crying, but I just couldn't. There was a tap on my window causing me to jump. I looked up to see Billy in my window. He pushed it upwards and began to crawl in. "Billy! You gave me a fucking heart attack!" I jumped off the bed and punched him in the should. He laughed and grabbed the place I hit. "How are you feeling?"

"Good I guess, I threw up at school but I mean, I'm feeling physical okay, maybe not mentally, but a few good therapy sessions can help that." He smiled before looking down at my neck. "He got you good didn't he?" I shrugged. "Not as good as Casey..." His expression didn't change as he moved his hand up to my neck, tracing the bruise prints.

His other hand made its way to my jawline caressing it before bringing me into a kiss. I pushed away from him. "No, you're with Sidney! She would be broken if she found out you did that!" He pressed closer. "Who would tell her? I don't think you would..." I couldn't deny the fact that he was an attractive boy, and I had wished for more with him until Sid. But at the same time, you never wanted to hurt her. She was your friend. And what kind of friend kissed their best friend's boyfriend?

I sat back down on my bed and rubbed my forehead. "I can tell you want it... And I want it too. I was going to break up with Sidney anyway so maybe we could start something."

Billy's hand moved to my cheek, as he brushed my hair back. He kissed my cheek, right where it met my lips, and I found myself beginning to kiss back, placing my hand into his hair and pulling him closer. Billy pushed me back against the bed and leaned over the top of me. We pulled away for a breath and he stared into my eyes. Those dark brown eyes that I had always wished to get close to.

"Want to go further?" he planted a small kiss on my forehead and began sliding a hand up under my hoodie. His cold hand rested at my hip and made me shiver. "Break up with Sidney first, then we can talk about going further..." He smiled and nodded. "That's a deal."

Billy stood back up. "I'll go and do it now, then I can come back here if you want of course."

"Yeah, that sounds nice..." I spoke subconsciously biting my bottom lip as I smiled. He stepped back outside my window and gave me one last kiss before disappearing into the night. I shut the window and fell back into my bed. After about 10 maybe 15 minutes the phone on my nightstand rang. I picked it up. "Hello?"

"Hello, Angel..."

I'm so sorry if this chapter sucked ass, but oh well. I had already written a majority of the first movie but felt that I moved too quickly. So before I posted it, I am going through and re-writing it. I'm still not the happiest with it, so I would love to hear feedback, so let me know if there is anything I should fix!
