"Val are you okay?" Sidney asked running up to me. By now everyone had heard about me getting attacked in the school bathroom. I just responded with a shrug. "If you pee, I pee. The same goes for you, Sid!" Tatum suggested. Stu bounded over to us in hat seemed to be in a great mood. "Darling, I don't know what you did, Valarie, but on behalf of the entire student body we say, thank you!" He handed Tatum and me a little flower from one of the pots outside the school. Tatum smacked him in the arm. "Drop it, Stu!"

He ran around the side of Sid and me and bent down picking up Tatum and sitting her on his shoulder. "I say, impromptu party tonight, my house, celebrate this little fiesta, what do you girls say?"

"Are you serious?" Sid questioned. She obviously wasn't into it.

"Let's stop calling it a fiesta and then maybe I'll consider," I responded glaring at him. "Fine, fine little 'getaway'! Is that better?" I nodded. "I guess I'm in."

He smiled and began dancing around with Tatum trying to convince Sid.

The group of us stopped and Stu leaned over Tatum's shoulder, planting a kiss on her neck. "Come on Sid, for me? It could be fun." Tatum asked. "Okay, whatever." Stu looked up. "Yeah? Nice. You guys bring food alright? Valarie, would you mind coming with me?" Stu walked off, back in the direction of the school, and gestured for me to follow. I turned to Tatum who gave me a nod. "Keep him in check!" I nodded with a laugh and walked off with him.

"Where are we heading?" I asked. He put his hands in his pockets. "To the movie store with Billy, you have a divine movie taste might I add, so I thought you could help with the pick!"

"Billy?" I questioned looking up at him. He looked down at me with a confused expression. "Yeah? Billy." He must've sensed my fear. "Do you still think he was the voice over the phone?" I shook my head. "No! Of course not... I just don't want him to be upset at me."

Stu shook his head and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "He's not mad at you Val! In fact, he was looking for you, and wanted to say thank you." I turned my head up to look for Stu's car. As we reached it I noticed a familiar brunette boy leaning against the trunk.

Billy. My heart raced as he looked up, and we made eye contact. Stu let go of me, raced around to the driver's side, and hopped in. The brunette took a few steps towards me. "I know you probably aren't that fond of me right now, but I just want to let you know that I am very grateful for what you did at the police station..." He took my hands in his. "...and I did it... I broke up with Sidney." I smiled. "That's great, but Stu is waiting for us in the car, we might want to start heading out."

He nodded and we hopped in the car. Me in the backseat with the two males in the front.

Our destination was Blockbuster. Now, whether that be because they actually have good movies, or because Randy Meeks works there. I personally, think the latter.

We entered the store to see Randy wheeling around on a cart. Stu jogged up to him swinging a few tapes out of his hand. They fell to the ground, and I chased after him. "Quit Stu! Don't be rude. He held his arm. "Easy!" Randy looked up at me. "Hey, Val didn't expect to see you around here..." I shrugged. "I'm Stu's babysitter!" Randy laughed. Stu maneuvered around to hang against the shelf while also making eye contact with Randy. "Jesus, this place is packed tonight, man!" The other boy continued his job. "We had a run in the mass murder section."

"Hm, I wonder why!" I said leaning against the side Randy was on. "Coming to my Fiesta tonight?" He turned to me realizing his mistake. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I'm off early tonight, curfew," a blonde girl came up next to us. "What is that werewolf movie with E.T's mom in it?" She asked. "The Howling, Horror," Randy pointed to the horror section. We turned in that direction to see Billy standing there with two girls.

"That's in poor taste!" My head turned back to the pair of boys. "What?" Stu questioned. "If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath, would you be standing in the horror section?" The taller boy looked confused. "It was just a misunderstanding...."

I sighed rolling my eyes and heading off to the horror section myself. "You okay Val?" Billy asked turning away from the two girls he was talking with, to me. "Yeah, I'm fine, just looking for a film."

I continued browsing until their conversation got louder. "There's a formula! A very simple formula! EVERYONE'S A SUSPECT!" Randy yelled. Everybody was looking at him. Billy snuck behind him. There was going to be a fight. I could just feel it boiling in my stomach. "I'm telling you, the dad is a red-herring, it's Billy."

Randy turned around and Billy grabbed his shirt. "How do we know you're not the killer?" I stood up and began walking over to them. Fear plastered Randy's face. Stu jumped on board immediately resting his arms on Randy's neck and shoulders. "Hi, Billy!" was all he could muster out. "Let's just fucking go," I said.

"Maybe your movie freaked mind lost its reality button. You ever think of that?" The rambling continued. "You're absolutely right! I'm the first to admit, if this were a scary movie, I'd be the prime suspect!" I couldn't tell if his answers were genuine, or forced. Probably both. "That's right..." Billy whispered. "Billy, Stu, let's go!" I called again. "What would be your motive?" Stu asked toying with Meeks. He quickly turned around. "It's the millennium, motives are incidental."

Billy sat back on his foot, and Stu cocked his head to the side.

"Millennium... Millennium I like that! That's good! Millennium!" Billy joked grabbing Randy's nose and pulling it side to side. "Billy, quit!" I yelled pulling on his arm. "Good kid," He spoke patting Randy on the side of the face. He wrapped the arm I was pulling him from around my shoulders and walked out.

"Why would you do that?" I asked pulling away from him to sit in the backseat. "I have to stick up for my name, just as much as you do." I rolled my eyes and stared out the window.

Stu pranced out of Blockbuster and into the driver seat. "Are these any good?" He threw a few movies back to me. I checked through all of them a gave a simple nod of the head. "Yup."

The two boys dropped me back off at my house, about an hour or 2 ago. I began to get ready and added light makeup to my skin. I mean, it's a party after all.

I began changing. Taking off the crop top, and bell-bottoms I had worn and replaced them with a deep crimson-colored skin-tight dress. I heard my window open and gasped quickly turning around. Billy sat perched, on my window sill. I rushed over and quickly helped him in. "God, you have to let me know when you show up! I just got done changing!" I laughed walking over to my vanity and sitting down. Billy walked over and laid his arms around my shoulders, and his head rested on top of mine. "Who said I didn't watch?"

My face went red and I covered it with my hands. He let out a small giggle and kissed my shoulder. "You look hot." He said admiring me from the mirror. "Why thank you."

I reached and opened my bottle of foundation, and began covering my neck. "Hey! hey, hey no, don't do that," Billy spoke taking the brush away from me. "What do you mean?" I asked turning around to face him. He took a wipe from the vanity and began wiping my neck. I winced everyone in a while if he pressed too hard, or hit a sensitive spot. Each time he would say 'sorry'.

Billy frowned at the bruises but grabbed my hands. "I want you to walk into that party knowing that you aren't a coward, but a fighter..." I nodded and he kissed my head. "Good job." I smiled and looked down at our hands.

"You don't believe it's still me do you?" His words caught me off-guard and I looked up. "What?" He frowned. "I'm really hoping that you don't think it's me..." I shook my head. "No! Of course not! I mean, why would you want to hurt me or Sid?"

He let one of my hands go and cupped my face. "What will make you believe it's not me?" I smiled. "When does the party start?" Billy replied, "At 7, why?" I looked behind him at the clock on my nightstand. 6:13

"My parents aren't home," I winked.
