"Not you!"
"Yes, me..."
He laughed on the other hand as tears began to rain down my face. I began to hyperventilate and I curled into a ball in the corner of my room.
"Don't cry, Val... I'm not near you right now."
"Where are you?" I whispered through sobs. His voice was arsenic to my ears.
"Your friend Sidney's front porch."
"Leave her alone! Please don't hurt her!" I stood up rushing to put shoes on.
"Why not? I could just imagine how great her intestines would look on the outside!"
I screamed and grabbed my hair. "No! Don't do it! Please I'm begging you! I'll give you money, anything! Just don't hurt anyone else!"
"It's nice to hear you beg. So selfless as well! What an angel you are."
I bawled into the phone. My vision was going blurry and I felt dizzy.
"Come to Sidney's house, I want to see the angel in person!"
I nodded. "I'll see you there." I hung up and rushed out the door. As quickly as possible, I hopped into my car and sped off to Sid's house.
I parked on the road and ran up to her house to open the door. It was chained shut. With all the pressure I could, I forced my way in, snapping the chain. "Where is that mother fucker!" I yelled. Sidney came running down the stairs, and Billy yelled for her from the top. I grabbed her shoulders slowing her down. "Sidney, what happened?" She jumped at the sight of me, but then grabbed me too trying to usher me out. "Billy's the killer! He made the phone calls! We have to get out!" I let go of her out of pure shock and she rushed to the door.
"Val I didn't do it!" I just stared in shock, I was frozen and didn't know what to do. Sidney opened the door and let out a loud scream. I turned to see the mask that the killer had worn. The sheriff pulled it down and let out a scream of his own. "I found this!" He spoke, and then called for the other officers. I was rushed out, with Sidney. She sat in an ambulance while the paramedic checked her. I had no injuries, so they didn't bother to search on me.
Billy was pulled out of the house in handcuffs. His body was slammed into the car and he grunted as the officers put pressure on him. It hurt to watch. "Val, please! Tell them! You know I didn't do anything! Sidney! Look at me!" I moved a hand to cover my mouth as another wave of tears began to fall. "Sidney! Valarie!" He called as the door to the cop car shut.
Tatum's familiar red Volkswagon beetle pulled up, just as Dewey, Tatum's brother, and Sherrif Burke strode up to us and began explaining that we were going to the police station. "Oh, shit, Sidney! Val!" Tatum cried running up to us. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry I was late! Are you okay?" Dewey grabbed her arm and began pulling her away. "Tatum, you can't be here, it's an official crime scene."
"It's okay..." Sidney said, and Dewey lightened up a bit. "Her dad's out of town all right? She is staying with us tonight."

Sidney and I watched as Billy was questioned. "How did you know what was happening?" She asked me. "The killer gave me a call, told me he was looking to kill you..." I responded. "And with Billy? He told me to talk to you. Said you know why he was there."
"He came to my house to talk about you... Said he didn't feel like it was right anymore and questioned if he should break up with you."
She nodded. We continued watching Billy. Then as if he could sense our stare, he turned around and faced us. Making eye contact with both of us. I shuttered and turned away, taking a sip of the water that the police station provided us. Then they stood up and walked out of the room. Sidney avoided eye contact the whole time, while I was the opposite. "Val, did you tell her? You need to tell everyone! Don't hold it back!" I gave a subtle nod before turning away from him.
My eyes made contact with Sid's. She was crying. Tears formed on her eyelashes and some even spilled down her cheeks.

Sidney was all over the news. So was her mother, and Cotton. I got ready for school that morning and was picked up by Dewey, along with Sid and Tatum. we stepped out of the car to immediately be bombarded with questions. I took off into the school leaving the other two, and straight to my locker.
Tatum and Sid eventually caught up, along with a Stu Macher they found on their way. "Haven't seen Billy around he must be pissed!" Sidney said looking towards Stu. "Oh what? Do you mean how after you branded him the candy man? He's heartbroken!" Tatum punched him in the arm in an effort to shut him up.
There was a scream from down the hallway. I looked as students began to make way for someone in the killer's costume to come barreling down the hall. He jumped in Sidney and I's faces making me hold my breath, while Sidney let out a gasp. "Why are they doing this?" Stu laughed at the whole charade, "Are you kidding me? It's like Christmas!" Tatum corrected him by smacking him in the face multiple times with a sucker.
Sidney took off down the hallway, and we watched as she bumped into the one and only Billy Loomis. My lip began to quiver when I saw him. They really had me believing he was the killer yesterday. I decided to leave them be. He was finally probably telling her to her face that he was breaking up with her.
I headed to the bathroom and passed them without making eye contact. I pushed myself into the last stall and leaned up against the wall. "What if they both did it?" A feminine voice called out. My eyes shot open. And the sounds of toilets flushing, and the stalls opening echoed through the room. "What if Sidney and Valarie killed Casey and Steve?"
"Why would they do that?" One retorted. "Maybe they had the hots for Steve, and killed them in a jealous rage!" she mocked. I held my hand to my mouth to silence my breath, in hopes of not being heard. "Maybe Valarie, but what would Sidney want with Steve? She has her own bubble-butt-boyfriend Billy."
"Maybe she's a slut, just like her mother..." The words stung. Even though they weren't about me, Sidney was the least slutty out of all the sluts at school. She wasn't even grouped with them! "You're evil..." The second girl commented. "Please, it's a fact! Her mother was a tramp."
"Don't say that! She watched her mother get butchered!" The first girl scoffed. "And it fucked her up royally! As for Valarie, she can't get any dick." they laughed. "If she can't have any dick, no one can!" The voices dissipated as they left the room. I sighed and stepped out of the stall.
I placed my bag down and began washing my face. "Valarie~" I heard a voice call from behind me. I sat up, water falling from my face, and hands, and looked to see nobody. I pulled out a paper towel and dabbed away the water. "Valarie~" It called again. I shut off the faucet and grabbed my bag. I'm probably just paranoid. Squatting down, I looked under the stalls to see no feet. The lock opened and the man with the white mask charged at me.
I gasped and ran towards the door. He grabbed me and pinned me against the wall, just as he had before, and placed his hands around my neck. Just this time it was lighter. Tears formed in my eyes as I kicked into his stomach. He fell backward, and I ran out of the bathroom, straight to the school office.
