<first and last love>

-part 2-

jay woke up to his phone alarm clock ringing and he threw his phone to the side to shut it off , he had work today but he was too exhausted to even get up and shower . his father came into his room and sighed

"jay , son you need to get up . you have work" jay's father said

"leave me alone dad" jay replied feeling annoyed and burrying his face into his pillow

just then jay's mum came in

"just let him skip work today , hes been working so hard . he deserves a break" jay's mum said

jay's father agreed and they both left his room , jay had remembered about work but he figured that skipping work for a day wouldn't hurt . after an hour or two , jay finally woke up . he got up from his bed and went downstairs and saw his parents sitting on the sofa watching tv , his mum noticed him and got up

"youre awake , i was starting to think you werent going to get out of bed today" jay's mum joked

jay faked smiled at his mum's comment because he didnt have the energy to laugh , his mum gave him his food that he was supposed to have for breakfast and he ate it quietly . afterwards he went to shower and decided to just stay home and spend time with his family since everyone is at home . while jay was watching a movie with his parents , he suddenly received a call from someone . he looked at the caller id and it was his friend jake . jay answered the call feeling confused because jake had never called him before unless he needed help with homework but that was way back in highschool but they have graduated university already so what could he possibly need help with ?

"hey jake , whats up" jay answered the call

"hey mate , i was thinking of me , you and the guys could meet up today . you know , because we havent seen each other since university i figured itll be cool if we met up after a while" jake explained

jay thought about it for awhile and nodded as if he was talking to jake in person

"yeah sure , i think thatll be cool" jay replied

"alright cool , i'll make a groupchat with the guys in it so i can send you guys the address" jake added

"sounds good , i'll see you later then" jay ended the conversation and hung up

jay told his parents about the meet up and because they think itll be good if jay met up with his friends from school since they drifted away ever since they graduated from university . jay went to his room and got ready

-jake: hey guys ! ive already called each one of you about the meet up so we can meet at the park near our highschool .

-sunghoon: sounds good , i'll see yall there

-heeseung: see you!

jay turned off his phone and went downstairs , he said goodbye to his parents and went out . he walked to the highschool him and the boys used to attend and when he arrived , he saw ni-ki sitting on a bench with his phone in his hand , his right leg over the left and taking sips from a drink . jay walked up to him and when ni-ki noticed him , his eyes lit up . jay smiled at him and ni-ki got up and hugged him . jay and ni-ki were very close friends in highschool . you could say they were inseparable , almost like siblings from different parents . they sat down and started talking about their lives while waiting for the others . soon , the other guys showed up and they were all glad to see each other again after so long . then they started talking about their love life . which , jay absolutely hated because he didnt have any plans on love . he got to find out his friends had partners and he was the only one who kept quiet during the whole conversation .

"what about you jay ? do you have a partner ?" heeseung asked

this question is so commonly asked to him and the only answer he can give them is

"no , not at the moment" jay replied

he knew he would never find his first love nor his last love . he knew he would never be able to find someone who he could call his . he knew that he would die single and that the only people who would miss him would be his parents and friends . no girlfriend , no boyfriend . he doesnt know that there is someone out there who is his soulmate . theres someone out there waiting for him to call them his . his soulmate is out there but he doesnt know . he doesnt believe it when people tell him that .

he didnt believe in love .
