Chapter Three: In The Hospital

( Sutton's p.o.v )
I was going upstairs to check on my sister because it was time to eat. So I go into her room. I seen that her diary so I went over to it. I seen that she wrote in it. But I was wondering where she was at. Then I seem blood spots on the carpet. So I followed it to the bathroom. I seen Emma knocked out on the floor with blood in her nose. So I run downstairs to my dad and mom.
" Hey mom and dad!" I yelled panicking.
" What Sutton?" My dad asked.
" We have a problem." I said.
" What is the problem?" My dad asked.
" Emma is up there knocked out with blood all over her." I said freaking out.
Then my dad runs upstairs. He sees her there. He starts panicking telling me to call 911. So I go down there to call 911.
Hi. I-I need an ambulance. To Uh...2104 Maple Street." I said hanging up.
Then the ambulance were here. They had one of them beds that you put people on. I was freaking out. Then they had my sister on the bed. They drove away with her to take her to the hospital. My mom was crying. My dad was freaking out. Shane was by Carl hugging him telling him that everything is going to be okay. Then my mom said this.
" Your dad and I are going to the hospital. Carl you stay here with Shane. Sutton you are coming with us okay." My mom said.
Then we got into the car. We drove to the hospital. We got out. We asked the person what rooms she's in. They said that she was in icu right now. So we had to wait in the waiting room. So I called sam to let him know what is going on.
( Phone conversation )
" Hello." Sam answered.
" Hey this is Sutton." I said.
" What's wrong?" Sam asked.
" Uh Sam um Emma is in the hospital." I said.
" For what?" Sam asked worried.
" I went up to her room to get her because we were having a cookout and I seen that she was writing in her diary. Then when I looked down there was blood on the floor. So I followed it. It lead to the bathroom so I looked in there. I-I." Sutton said crying.
" What did you see?" Sam asked.
" She was knocked out on the bathroom floor with blood everywhere." I said crying.
" Oh my god. I will be right there." Sam said hanging up.

( Sam's p.o.v )
I was rushing to get my keys when I just started crying. Then Lexi came down and see me right there crying.
" What's wrong Sam?" Lexi asked.
" It's about Emma." I said.
" Did she break up with you?" Lexi said.
" What Uh no she didn't break up with me." I said.
" Then what in the world is it?" Lexi asked.
" She's in the hospital." I said.
" For what sam?" Lexi asked.
" Sutton found her up in her room knocked out with blood all over her." I said.
" What how?" Lexi asked.
" Sutton was going up there to get her because they had a cookout. Emma wrote in her diary. Then Sutton seen blood that led to the bathroom. Then when Sutton went to the bathroom. Emma was knocked out on the floor with blood all over her." I said.
" Oh my god. Is she okay?" Lexi asked.
" I don't know. I was getting ready to go when I just started crying. I am about to head there right now." I said to her.
" I'm going with you." Lexi said.
" Uh no you are not." I said.
" She has been my best friend way before she was yours." Lexi said.
" Alright then." I said.
We headed to my car. Then I started driving. Then we were finally there. We got out of the car. We hurried up inside. Then I seen Sutton and them. I went and hugged Lori. Then we were just waiting to see her because she was in the icu. Then we waited for 2hrs. Then the doctor was coming over to us.
" Is my daughter going to be okay?" Lori asked.
" Yeah she is." The doctor said.
" Do you know what's wrong with her?" I asked.
" I really don't have a answer for that is what I think happened is that she was dizzy or something. I will let you know when I know okay. You guys can go see her." The doctor said.
" Thank you very much." Lori said.
Then we all walked in there seeing her on the hospital bed. I couldn't look so I went out. Lexi must of called Brie because she was here hugging Lori and Rick and Lexi. So I just sat for a little bit more.
( Emma's p.o.v )
I finally woke up. My mom, dad, Sutton, Lexi,Brie was here. I didn't really see Sam.
" Hey sweetie." My mom said.
" Hey mom." I said.
" Do you want to explain to me of what in the world happened here Emma?" My mom asked.
" I just got dizzied and I fell real hard on the floor that is what happened." I said.
" Then why was there blood?" My mom asked.
" Because I hit my head real hard mom." I said.
" I am just worried about you sweetie." My mom said.
" I know you are mom. I am so sorry for ruining the amazing cookout." I said.
" I know you are sweetie. The cookout will still be there when you come home okay." My mom said.
" Okay. Where's Sam? I really need to talk to him?" I asked.
" He is out there in the waiting room waiting for you. I will go call him in okay." My mom said.
" May I ask mom? How is Carl?" I asked.
" He is just shocked. But he knows you are okay. I am going to get Sam for you okay." My mom said kissing me on the forehead and then walked out.
Then when I was sitting up a little Sutton was right here.
" You scared me Sutton." I said.
" When you were like that up there. I didn't know what to do." Sutton said freaking out and screaming.
" It's okay Sutton I am fine." I said.
" No you are not." Sutton said crying and running out.
Then Lexi and Brie were right there.
" Hey Em. What was that about with Sutton." They asked.
" She is just scared and upset that she found me like that." I said.
" Yeah I was so worried about you em." Lexi said.
" How did you find out?" I asked.
" Well Sutton called my brother and told him. He was crying before he could go. I ask him why he was crying. Sam said that you were in the hospital. So I said to him that I was going with him. He told me know. Do you no why he said that to me?" Lexi asked me.
" I-I don't know Lex. I am so sorry he said that to you."I said.
" It's okay. I am glad that you are okay." Lexi said smiling.
" I found out from Lexi. We are your best friends. You know you can always come to us if you needed anything right?" Brie asked.
" I know. Thanks Brie and Lexi for always being there for me." I said as Sam walked in.
" Well we will leave you two alone okay." They said leaving.
" Hey Sam." I said smiling.
" Tell me the truth. Do you believe that you got dizzied and fell. I don't believe that." Sam said.
" That is what happened." I said.
" No I don't believe that." Sam said.
" I am telling you the truth." I said.
" You are lying and you know it." Sam said.
" Do we have to argue about this right now?" I asked.
" I am just..." Sam said crying.
" Sam." I said.
" I don't want to loose you. You not telling me the truth is making it really hard on me now." Sam said.
" I am sorry okay. But to be honest I don't know what is even happening to me. I love you. I love you Sam." I said.
" I love you too." Sam said hugging me.
Then the nurse came in and told me I had to stay back just for tonight. Then they all said that they will be back to get me tomorrow. Then the doctor came in.
" Umm do you know what is wrong with me doctor?" I asked.
" You have cancer Emma." The doctor said.
" I have cancer. Do you know what stage it is in?" I asked.
" I believe we can probably cure." The doctor said.
" Cure it. What stage is it in?" I asked.
" You have stage 3 cancer." The doctor said.
" Can you do me a favor?" I asked.
" Of course." The doctor said.
" Keep this away from my family okay. They don't need to know. Not right now. They already have too much on their plate. I am just going to move on. Pretend like I don't have it. I have to at least do American idol. So please can you do that for me?" I asked the doctor.
" But Emma. You know your mom and dad work here right. They will want to know what it was. Your dad is a doctor." The doctor said.
" Just please keep this from them. Come up with something. Please doc." I said.
" Okay. Alright. Get some rest okay Emma." The doctor said.
" Thank you doctor." I said and he shook his head. He shut the door. So I decided to get some rest to realize what I have to do. I will do it no matter what. My family has been through too much. So I will keep This big secret I have. So I reached over to get my diary because my mom bring it in for me.
Dear diary
Today was awful for people to see me like that. I did something that I will regret maybe. I made the doctor keep a serious secret about what could maybe be cured. But I don't want to make them worry. So I won't tell them about my biggest secret ever. So I will write back to you real soon. I am just tired that is all so I will write back tomorrow.

Then I decided to put my diary back and go to bed.
