Chapter One: Audition day

( Emma's pov )

" Emma, time to get up!" Yelled my mom Lori.

I put my pillow over my head. Ugh " In a minute." I mumbled.

" Just hurry up. Your big audition is today. Don't wanna be late!" My mom said.

Oh crap. I totally forgot. My audition is today. I got to get up. So I won't be late. I jumped out of bed and took off my pajamas that i wore to bed, I put on my black dress, I put on my black dress shoes, then I curled my hair, that took 20 minutes because my hair is thin, then I went in there to brush my teeth, then I got out of my room like that.

" Are you ready, kiddo?" Asked my mom standing there with the keys in her hands.

" Yeah. But I am so nervous." I said.

" You will be fine. Just be yourself, I am sure that they will love you." My mom said smiling.

" Thanks mom." I said smiling nervous.

Then like that we were out the door. We stepped into mom's car and she started the engine. We were off.

5 hours later

We arrived at Boston and as we stepped out of the car. Then we got in the building, the line was like so long that it took like 4 hours. When we finally got into the building we went to the front desk and I got a number. " Here's your number, please make a right, take a seat in room C." So we did just that. When we walked into the room it was hard to find a seat. It was packed. Then I seen Lexi, Sam, I ran over to her.

" Hey." I said.

" Are you looking for a seat?" Lexi asked.

" Yeah." I said.

" Well here is some over here, yes you guys can sit by us." She said.

" I thought you weren't auditing for American Idol?" I asked her.

" I'm not Sam is." She said.

" Oh okay sure I will tell them to sit over here with me." I said telling my mom, dad, sister, brother to come over here.

Then I was waiting for my number to be called after sam's, when Sam was done. " Number 27500." Then that was when I knew that I was up.
