Chapter 1-Banshee

While Thel Ormaje wondered through the dark woods,he heard the faint sound of birds talking amongst each other. He turned around. Nothing. The birds stopped chirping and talking and they flew off.
'Thats what I thought.'
he said to himself as his plasma rifle was pointed at where the birds were sitting before they flew off.

He turned back around and continued to walk deeper into the woods.

His armor was heavy and slowed him down,but the MK 7 kalwm armor packed a pretty good punch when it came to any type of combat. Even a rocket launcher couldn't tear through the MK 7.
He had "borrowed" the armor from a high class Elite that was walking down the wrong path while the rest of it's squad was ahead.

Thel took all his gear,including a MK 4 class energy sword (which were hard to find these days). He kept the blade on his belt,which also had 3 plasma grenades and a concussion rifle.

As he walked deeper into the woods,Thel thought about his village and childhood.
The fact that his father,Kuda Ormaje,was a Field Marshall,made his childhood something great but at the same time terrible.
Kuda would always be away on some sort of council meeting,talking with the other Field Marshall's,or in the midst of another Battle over another planet over the other side of the Galaxy.

This angered Thel every time he thought of his childhood. It made him mad at his father for not being there and for not protecting his family when they needed protection.

He brushed the thought away and kept on strolling deeper into the woods.

There was a possibility that Thels next footstep could've been his last,but the fact that his motion sensor was charged up and on full power saved his life.

He turned his head slightly and dive kicked himself off of a nearby tree just as the flying vehicle crashed where he was standing 3 seconds earlier. Thel fell on his side and onto a rock,injuring himself slightly,but he pushed the pain aside and got up.

He marched towards the vehicle,enraged by whoever was driving it,and grabbed onto the entrance of the Banshee,broke it away from it's main attachments and threw it away,the metal slicing a nearby tree in two.

Empty.

'How? How could it possibly be empty' he thought to himself.

He moved closer into it and saw a small flashing device that was attached to the main Banshee controls. The Banshee was being maneuvered by a controlling device. It had hacked into the Banshees controls.

Thel frowned when he realized what had just happened.

He looked into the light blue sky and roared in anger. Birds that were sitting on tree branches nearby flew away from the sound.
Just as he looked down he saw another thing. Another device began to flash. He moved closer and reached for it and flicked it open. A blue shape hovered just above the pad,and a small figure of a Elite came into view.

The hologram said one sentence.

"To anybody who receives this message ,contact Kura Rakamee immediately.
To anybody who receives this message,conta-"

The message was on repeat.

Thel was surprised when he saw the message.
'Kura' he thought to himself 'I haven't heard that name ever since..'

SNAP

He looked behind him,scanning for the thing that snapped the twig,the thing was obviously following. He looked back at the message that was still playing itself over and over,clicked another button on it and received a location on his HUD.

27 clicks. Not that far.

He dropped the device and looked back at the Banshee. One of the wings had been slightly smashed and it was smoking from the engines slightly.
He looked around one more time,making sure he was alone,and that the snapped twig was just his imagination. It felt like somebody or something was watching,but he concentrated on Kura,and what he had to do. He moved into the Banshee and lied down inside it. Even though the entrance had been removed,it was still drivable.

'It has been to long' he thought to himself.

He started the engines,and the vehicle pushed itself off the ground. The two winged pod like vehicle spun around slowly as Thel pushed a couple of buttons,and it flew off and away towards Kuras location.
