Commander clicked around his computer. It was a slow day. There was no Titans wanting to battle and any chores needed to be done were basically finished. Most of the Towers spent the time to play some outdoor games or to get in touch with loved ones back home.
How was Commander spending his free day? Watching cat videos of course! He chuckled at the video he was watching; a cat being scared by a cucumber.
A knock at the door had him panicking as he hurriedly closed out his tab. Clearing his throat, he put his hands together and called, "Come in!" Scout opened the door and entered, closing the door behind him.
"Ah, Scout. Anything needed?" Commander usually knew if Scout came in, someone needed something approval or help on. "The military drivers asked if they could take the four wheelers out and drive them around. They wanted to make sure they ran properly and to do any maintenance needed on them."
Commander pondered on it. It was probably an excuse to have some fun, but why not? He trusted they would do the required maintenance too.
"Have your fun. Just make sure not to cause any needed repairs. Also, the drivers are the only ones using them. They actually know how to drive them," Commander allowed. Scout got visibly excited and ran out, not being able to wait to tell the others.
Commander simply shook his head, they were going to break something. He was just about to get back to watching cat videos when Medic entered. She had her clipboard in hand.
"Need anything?" Commander asked. "No, just trying to escape the medical ward. What made you get Scout so happy?" Medic smiled as she sat down in one of the cushioned arm chairs. It wasn't exacrly comfortable but it was a place to sit.
Commander could only lightly cough into his hand. "I gave them permission to drive the four wheelers around," he admitted. Medic looked at him in disbelief, "I'm not dealing with any ran over Towers."
The two laughed at the joke. Commander didn't mind Medic being in here, the two had a lot of work on their plates and they liked to complain to each other. It made working less irritating.
"You find it odd that no Titans having been wanting to fight basically this whole week? I could understand Molten Boss and Fallen King, but Gravedigger usually likes to get out and be a trouble maker," Medic noted. She was going through her clipboard, probably some confusing medical stuff.
Commander nodded as he opened RoTube, "They probably want a break. Not that I'm complaining." Commander smiled as found another cat video he was interested in.
"Yeah, but the last time something like this happened was when that freak snow system came through. Not even Frost Spirit would come out," Medic explained. She looked over and pouted at seeing Commander not listening.
Medic huffed and got up, walking over to see what he was watching. "You'd rather watch cat videos then listen to an important conversation?" Medic grumbled.
"What's so important about it? Look, just relax. Enjoy the day! Don't you have your 'research' to take care of?" Commander wasn't looking away from the screen, he was instead laughing at the cat popping a balloon.
Medic glared at him, "I hate you." As she walked out, Commander responded in a mumble, "Love you too."
Medic's heels clicked against the concrete floor as she made her way to the medical ward. As the head medic, she had her own personal office in the medical ward. Nobody was allowed to go in without her being there. Even then, she rather talk outside her office.
