Commander stared at the photo on his wall. It was of the whole camp. It had been taken three years ago during a nice spring morning. A pretty good thunderstorm rolled in later that day from what Commander could remember.

Medic was standing next to him in the photo, her hair a nice pixie cut after an accident with one of the pyromancers. Commander remembered how he would just stare at her any chance he got for he thought the hairstyle looked adorable on the head medic.

Commander shook out of his trance of Medic and moved on to a different face. Scout was brand new to the camp when this photo was taken, fresh out of basic training. It was actually a mistake he was placed here, piss poor coordination being at fault.

However, Commander couldn't bring it in him to have Scout moved to the proper district after three months of having him around.

From there, Scout made every day just a bit bearable. Commander stopped to think. He had lost Scout and he had ruined his relationship with Medic. Nobody else in the camp was close to him like they were.

Commander began to think deeper. He quickly slapped his forehead though, "No... none of that. Can't start thinking like that again." He spoke to himself, needing the peptalk.

He had demons. Demons he never talked about and kept hidden. He thought they were vanquished after he met Scout and Medic, but it turned out they just laid dormant until now.

"I need a coffee," Commander told himself as he got out his keys and made his way to his door. He stopped just beside the door when he heard some fast paced clicking. They sounded like heels, medic heels.

Commander quickly stepped away from the door, thinking it might be Val coming back for round two. Sure enough, his door was nearly kicked off its hinges by Medic.

Commander started to freak. Not because Medic had finally come back to him, but his precious door was now broken.

"My door-" Commander began to whine, but Medic shut him up as he stomped forward, her eyes burning.

"Listen here! We have been through so much you and I. We've had coffee nights where we would stay up all night to god damn paper work!" Medic pointed her finger at Commander, who was backing up towards his desk.

"Not to mention the time you broke your legs after being stupid enough to use a shopping cart as a go-kart and I had to take care of you!" Medic reminded. Commander was hoping she would never bring up the memory again.

Medic had backed him up to his desk. Commander was nearly about to start climbing it out of fear. "Lastly, how dare you think I don't care about how you feel? That's all I ever do with you! Care about you! It's about time you feel the same!" Medic stomped right up to his face.

"What are you doi-" Commander was nervously sweating and trying to calm the situation down when Medic grabbed his shirt and forced him down. Their lips crashed against one another's.

Commander went wide eyed at the surprise action and froze. Medic quickly caught on to what she was doing and pulled away fiercely. "Oh Creator, I didn't mean- it was all Val's idea and-"

As Medic rambled about this being a huge dumb mistake, Commander took his glasses off. His hands shook as he peeled them away from his eyes and placed them on his desk. He looked right back at Medic, who was still gushing out apologies and excuses.

"I was so emotionally out of it so I guess Val brainwashed me or something," Medic kept on panicking even more as Commander slowly wrapped his arms around her.
